Im not sure how/where you rank a guy where every highlight is him vs a 5'9 180 lineman. He kinda looked bored in most vids i watched.

Totally agree for ESPN in general in terms of their rankings. But for ISD in particular, I do like the way they break down and profile the recruits.

That's my theory why he is not going to cal and will pick nd. If he was going to cal, he woulda picked them today with all his friends. All his friends want him at cal, but he is leaning towards nd.

At least that's what I hope haha

That's actually a good point. You know he isn't a "Cal lock" otherwise he would have announced with his friends. I'm not sure that means he comes here, but I do think that it definitely means he is doing more than just considering it.

That sort of logic would make it seem that Yuri Wright would not come here, right? (Not announcing today when Shumate, wanting him to come, did) But I can deal with it if we land Armstead(s).

Yes, but the difference is Yuri was going to take more visits regardless. Armstead has already been to these schools and knows enough to make an informed decision.

All I will say is that ND has made a great push in both basketball and football, and it appears Arik understands he fits better at ND than anywhere else.

Relationships with current Cal players and the proximity to home make Cal the "leader" only if Armond doesn't transfer to ND. Assuming that goes through... oh boy, this class is going to be SPECIAL.
