Well I'm new here and I will admit I'm a USC fan, BUT I don't care for trolling any board (I hate when rival fans do that), I just like talking football really and maybe giving my 2 cents every now and then. Well just thought I'd introduce myself!

I would like to hear your opinion on USC football and Lane Kiffin. Others may not but I like to hear outside of opinion of their own program then that of NDs.

Welcome rob! Sounds like you've got the handle on this board no trolling, no smack talk. I'm hoping a couple of the recent ND newbies here grasp that concept.
Always looking for dialog with the opposition. Some good natured ribbing can be part of mature discussion. I've been on this board for going on 7 years, maisonbleu, a Michigan fan was been here longer than I have. He's not a frequent poster but his comments are usually on point and add to the discussion.
There's a discussion going on currently in the Arik Armstead Recruiting Profile about him and his brother Armond. You may (or may not) want to venture over and add your prespective on both him. Well I do have a subscription to a premium site and from what i've read he does seem to be a USC lean honestly, but then again that's a USC site so I would expect them to be a bit bias. Personally, though, I think he probably stays in Florida and becomes a Gator. I think Muschamp will sell him being a sort of savior for a program on the "rise". If I had to guess his order of schools right now It's probably Florida/USC nearly neck and neck and then Notre Dame.

well personally I'm starting to like Kiffin (hope I don't get flamed for saying that ahhaah). When he first got here I was actually more accepting of the hire then most people (even USC fans). I personally thought he really hadn't been given a chance to show what he could do. Then his first season was terrible and I was in that group that was basically thinking that Kiffin was gonna be gone once the scholarship restriction were done. But this year was really impressive and a lot of USC fans agree. I think the perception to most was that Kiffin inherited all this talent and really SHOULD have been having this type of season, but not a lot of people know that Pete Carroll wasn't the same type of coach and talent evaluator that he was early on at USC. Pete gave the recruiting reins to Brennan Carroll and from then on it seemed like those recruiting classes had a lot of star power, but not many truly passionate guys. And i think that's the difference between this season and 2009-2010 for USC. Everybody around campus and the players talk about how tight knit they are and how much they bonded. and i think that made the difference. If you look at the team on paper, USC was extremely young and really shouldn't have won the games they did, but Kiffin got them to buy in somehow. And that's really why there's so much excitement for next year.
I think they're both gone. Arik wants to go to Cal. and Armond is leaning to transferring.

Well my favorite is the 247 site, but a lot of stuff is premium. Wearesc.com was pretty good, but their recent change really ruined the whole site and many posters ended up going to usc.247.com

UCLA, easily. Notre Dame has tradition and has been successful before and overall I like when college football's traditional powers are good.
UCLA on the other hand, I absolutely hate. I'm around way more UCLA students than Notre Dame ones and for some reason it seems like they have a REALLY short memory when it comes to their football program. Always talk smack, even after the 50-0 game. I honestly wouldn't mind if they just bowed out and got rid of their whole football program.

I was terrified the first time I saw Jurassic Park. I was 7 and loved dinosaurs, and my babysitter let me watch it. I waited the whole movie for the T Rex to show up, because it was my favorite dinosaur, but when it did and ate everybody I freaked out and didn't sleep for 2 days.

I recently learned, to my disappointment, that the awesome dinosaur that kills Nedry in the movie is nothing like a real Dilophosaur.

i like to model it from the way I actually laugh, which is pretty sarcastically. And besides, everybody starts their laugh with an "H" needs more variety.
