The things that are posted from the kids social network sites on here seem to indicate that he is pumped to come to ND and ready to go. Also, the majority of info from reporters and posters that seem credible indicate he is coming here. If I hear some direct quotes from Tee, that changes things

Yeah the biggest worry is that Sheldon Day is in the system but Tee isn't. So you couple that with all of these USC people saying he verballed to USC on his OV and is now backing off... it's just a very strange situation. He pushes so hard to EE and now isn't going to? Postponing football for another 7 months? That just seems quite odd.

USC classes start the 9th so I think by January 7th we'll know whether or not he's EEing there, and then by January 15th we'll know whether he is EEing at ND. Going to be a lonnnnnnnng 2 weeks.

FWIW this situation is eerily similar to Deanthony Thomas going from USC to Oregon last year. Thomas was 100% USC and their biggest advocate.... until he all of a sudden wasn't. And then he was an Oregon Duck. All it took was one OV.

If you can't beat 'em, join 'em. No doubt it's painful for us, but Tee and Deontay have no doubt been constantly harassed by the USC reporters.

As long as all the other recruits know what they're doing, and Kelly knows what they're doing - I'm fine with it. As long as they come to ND and bring studs with 'em, we cool.

I think you all are misreading what happened....

It sounds like Biggins and these other tools started making stuff up out of nowhere. Citing "sources" or talking current USC commits. None of the original stuff came from the horse's mouth... it came from people trying to sell subscriptions. Then all of the reporters started badgering Tee and Deontay and Tee said, flippantly, "I'm pulling a hat on February 1st and not talking to any of you before then."

That's at least Theory A.

Theory B is that Tee/Deontay are going to USC and pull the wool over ND's eyes a la what Urban Meyer encouraged a recruit that will not be named to do a couple years ago. It still scares me that Tee isn't in the system and that Kiffin apparently has an in-home on tap for next week.

But that would mean he's not going to EE. If his goal was to get the reporter's off his back, stating that he's pulling a hat on February 1st was a pretty terrible way to do it.

I'm as worried as anyone, but let's take stock of how things stand currently: Shepard (1) was the 1st recruit in this class, has been set on ND for years, and has been one of our most vocal recruiters; (2) started a Facebook group for the 2012 recruits and continues to actively moderate it; and (3) he continues to say that he's 100% solid in his commitment to us.

For Tee to flip in light of all that would be an epic betrayal. I could see some recruits doing that, but it just doesn't seem like something Tee would do.
