Quicker than fast then, right?

:awesomewo

Definitely not fast. But quick and athletic. He is a great kid, and we're lucky to have him. I think he can improve on speed, and pick up some muscle,,,,,, and will compete after a year or so. He could end up in the slot or at DB. Need to also improve on YAC based on the small amount of video I've watched. Regardless of the need to improve in various areas, this kid seems to have a level of the "it' factor, even though it is against lesser competition. I'm going to assume he has what it takes to step it up a couple notches! Not flashy, but a great solid kid with lots of upside.

Good news finally! i like this combo of backs Russell and Mahone will be a great addition to the backfield. While Russell isn't a burner it appears he has great vision carrying the rock. Theres nothing more disheartening to a defense then for a back to consistently pick up yardage because of their ability to see open areas in a defense.

I was a little concerned about our backfield after the injury to Roberson and the fact that Gray is out of eligibility but the addition of these to kids has me feeling confident in our ability for production and effective depth. In the next 1-2 years our backfield is going to be a strength.
