Actually, this is exactly why posts are being deleted. The site owner himself as coyly made posts regarding Kiel to LSU as well.. (ex: link this was posted shortly after the initial "hunting trip" thread was deleted from TD.com)

None of it is official obviously, but it's more than just some delusional TD posters reading tea leaves as you are trying to suggestion.

I would. I lived on a piece of **** barge on the Mississippi River in Avondale, LA in the shipyards for almost a year. One five minute drive across the Huey P Long bridge and your in downtown New Orleans. That year was 2007. LSU's last National Championship season.

I've had to endure all manner of Tiger fans (see: tigerdroppings.com). So strong is the impression they left upon me that I almost hate them as much as Trojans or Skunk-bears.

I share your sentiment on Vandy, but LSU? No. **** LSU.

What you fail to comprehend is that the people on this forum live and breathe Notre Dame... especially Irish football. We want the best of the best because we want this program to be back on top and not in the dumps. We're all tired of hearing analysts and writers talk about how ND will never be what it was and we want to prove them wrong. We know that Gunner is a step in that direction. An excellent QB who could run our offense the way it is intended to be ran and get us to a BCS game. These people are expressing nothing but excitement at the possibility of having Gunner on the team. These people, for the most part, aren't idiots... just a little impatient. His commitment would represent huge change for the Irish and that's exciting. When you're on the outside looking in on this process it's easy to get irritated or carried away and grasp at any info, validated or not. Just relax, DSN.

Can't say I blame Kiel for taking so much time with his decision. All those faulting him for taking his time have obviously never had to make a decision as important as the one he is currently pressured to make. This is a huge decision that will without a doubt affect his future, for better or worse.

We should all have the presence of mind to realize that Kiel is just a kid who has a lot more on his plate than any of us could ever imagine and just be patient. Let's hope he chooses ND, but I hope the best for him either way.
