He has the confidence I didn't have during my one year of playing football. I was too afraid to mess up, but when I was just playing for fun I was making plays in the backfield like this guy. If I play like I do in backyard games where I make the decisions, I kill. :)

Even then, I don't think I would have had the stats this guy has. lol

This kid is nasty, sure hope he takes an OV to South Bend and sees the school Jesus built. Him and Ishaq together will be deadly.

You have to think something is up considering he transferred to a high school in Auburn. I just don't get the love affair with that school. I've been to a couple games there and visited friends and the campus there several times. I really just don't get it. Then what's this War Eagle nonsense yet your mascot is a tiger. Wouldn't you consider that sh!t cray!

Auburn front 7 class could be best ever.

At DE they 5:s: Carl Lawson and 4:s: Tashawn Bower.

At DT they already have 5:s: Dee Liner and are the reported leader for 5:s: USC "commit" Kenny Bigelow and also are firmly in the running and maybe lead for 5:s: Montravious Adams.

At LB they already have the #2 MLB in Trey Johnson and are about to flip the #1 MLB Reuben Foster.

C'mon. I'd expect a fellow Notre Dame fan to respect tradition. Foster always had Auburn high on his list, and he should've guessed that Chizik and staff would be hot on his trail, being right down the road.

As for the Eagle/Tiger thing. Auburn is known as the Tigers, as their mascot. But legend states that a Civil War veteran found a baby eagle on an abandoned battlefield, and took it to an Auburn-Georgia game. During some point in the game, the eagle flew around the field. During that time, Auburn scored and took the lead. Which began the chant "War Eagle". Auburn won the game, but legend states that the Eagle died soon after.

That's just one of the several myths. Auburn's mascot is "the Tigers who shout "War Eagle".

That is just insane. SEC teams just stack up the talent. Crazy how the power has shifted to the SEC West, with the east struggling and all. Doesn't matter, the whole conference is loaded. Unreal.

Apparently there is an even chance he flips to either school... or could just plain "decommit" but most think he is going to pick someone new or wouldn't hold the presser.

I read some interesting comments regarding this kids "personality" and immaturity... and when you contrast it with Jaylon it makes you appreciate him even more. 5:s: guys with the right mindset are very hard to come by.

JC Shurburtt thinks it will be Auburn but is not 100%. But he cautioned that if he flips to someone else, that his recruitment is far from over. Insinuating that based upon what they've seen so far from Foster doesn't give anyone any comfort that he's going to stick with that commitment.

Nothing but a circus around him and Nkemdiche. I think UGA but that is just a guess bc most everyone expects Auburn. Regardless, expect more to follow him.

Watch him flip back, again.

I'd take Jaylon Smith over him, as good of a linebacker and more versatile and has a better head, knowing he does not have a kid unlike Foster at 17.

Why would he and his family not want to field questions afterwards? I feel like I would want to explain my reason for decommitting from one university and committing to another.

ZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!

found this little tid bit

While Foster’s transfer may have hurt UGA, it may have helped Auburn. Foster will be playing on the same high school team as the sons of Auburn assistants Trooper Taylor and Curtis Luper.“People think because I’m going to Auburn High School that I’m going to Auburn University,” Foster said(hmmmm doesn't sound fishy at all) But I’m committed to Alabama, so nobody has to worry about that.”(lol)
