247 thinks with the way he talked about ND yesterday that we have a great shot if we don't get Kiel
Then, in my humble opinion, we don't get him.
I'd prefer Fuller over Kiel, not as a QB but as an overall player. I don't think QB is a huge need anymore after seeing what Hendrix can do.
Lmao, gotta stir the pot brah?
I was referencing Dillon's post. If he isn't offered as a qb, he's not coming, brah.![]()
Pitch QB to get him to sign. Give him a shot when he gets on campus. If it doesn't work out, show him the DB / Slot depth chart.
His interest is directly correlated to having a shot at QB
Which, in all honesty, I think he should be offered as a QB
His highlite tape is mostly him breaking off big runs, but from the limited clips he looks to have a decent delivery that could be worked with.
When does his senior highlite film come out?
Imagine this kid on the field with Golson/Hendrix. Throw or run?
if he is on the field with Golson/Hendrix then our QB problems are bigger than I thought
Going forward, I don't think there will be just one QB to lead the team. BK isn't afraid of using multiple QBs throughout a game. Why not have two of them that can/run throw as a set package, on the field at the same time?
For those debating his speed vs. Denard... he is as fast or faster. Denard ran a 4.48 laser timed coming out of high school (even though Michigan fans would have you believe he runs a 4.2) and Devin Fuller runs a reported 4.4. As an overall athlete, Fuller is rated much higher than Denard was coming out of high school (both were evaluated as athletes).
I really wish I had so full game film of Devin not just highlights... because he has a quirky throwing motion but holy cow can he fly... if he improves his mechanics, he could absolutely destroy as a college QB. If he can't, I fear he might have a lot of accuracy issues on short/intermediate routes.
Watched his tape again...WOW! Kid would be a stud at DB if he wanted to.

On ESPN's sports science, they said Denard runs a 4.32.
