ND coaches visiting him again this week. Its funny how people with absolutely no knowledge of the situation spout off on this board about him being a Cal lock. Its doubly funny when they site "distance" as their reason while he considers OVs to Washington, Texas and Auburn. Sit back and watch the next 2 weeks play out. None of us know what is going to happen.

Coaches were in house again last night. No word which coach(es).

Fat Ed in house this morning and Jim Mora Jr. will be stopping by this weekend. Auburn will also visit sometime this week.

Might not EE. Still has two online classes to finish and isn't sure he'll get them done before the winter semester starts.

To elaborate, apparently he is taking two "college classes" online that he needs to finish up and won't be done until January. Was planning on announcing within the coming weeks, but with this he might not announce until NSD (making him no longer an EE I would assume). I'm not sure if this is a Notre Dame EE problem (like how demand languages and other credits that some schools don't) or a general EE problem for him... if it's the former that's very, very bad for the Irish. If it's the latter, it's still bad but not earth shattering levels of bad. Every day this is delayed is another day for USC to work their way back in, UCLA to get in the mix, Cal to close, etc. On top of that his HS people were really pushing him not to EE, so reading the tea leaves expect this recruitment to drag out at least another 3 weeks and in all likelihood up to NSD with him not being an EE.

Huuuuuge bummer.

FWIW: ESPN Recruiting Nation is saying that it's too close to call with the Irish, Bears, and Ducks the teams to beat.

Not earth shattering but a little tid bit.

If Cal lands Payton, Adams, Armstead, Shaq, Treggs, and McNamara..... that's special and I'm glad it's not USC. I would love to not hear another person on this board say that sanctions aren't affecting USC.

QFT. USC's recruiting class is currently ranked #73 by 247.... ND's is #9 after the Stanley commit.

Kid was committed to SMU.

Seems like the kid just picked whatever he thought his best offer was. His only other decent offers were SMU, Georgia Tech and Colorado. After that, his next best offer is probably Montana... seriously...
