Monte Kiffin also has a great relationship with the head coach at Berkeley Prep. People close to Tampa believe it is a FSU/UF battle.

Expects ND to visit him Wednesday. In home visit with Noles today. RemIning officials will probably go to FSU Jan 13. Will be at UF this weekend. USC is probably a safe bet for a visit also.

Poster on II says right now it's a UF-ND battle, with UF leading. USC is coming in third because of how far away they are. Something with the way UF is recruiting him is not "agreeing with him." Not sure what that means, but TIFWIW.

EDIT: The poster claims to know someone close to Agholor.

Hard to say at this point. It certainly couldn't hurt to have that in our corner.

I just feel like at the end of the day, Nelson will make his own decision and where Myles goes won't affect much.

i would be totally shocked if agholor came to ND..starting to get the feeling that we are gonna be bridesmaids to about 10 remaining uncommitted players...we're about to stack up on 3 stars

As long as these guys hold off on their commitments, I think our chances will rise with all uncommitted (maybe even some committed) offensive prospects after January 7th.

that's just the feeling im starting to get, with the top players we are recruiting i just think we are just good enough to come in 2nd with alot of them. I HOPE I'M 100% WRONG!

I'm starting to get the feeling that you 1) don't know Notre Dame's coaches, and 2) don't know any recruits. Which means you have absolutely zero inside information.

as if i didn't already say i went a little overboard? you are right i dont have inside info.i do keep track of these recruits though, just like the rest of you. like i said before ,i shouldn't have said the 3 star comment, that was stupid, i know better.

I don't see what's so wrong with this statement. It's clearly an opinion, which is fine. And with the exception of Keil, I don't think we 'lead' with any remaining elite talent. Could be a big swing and miss, or one elite commit could result in a few more coming. Hoping for the latter, but like I said, it sounds like we're in a lot of recruits final few but we're not hearing much about being at the 'top of their lists'.

This is what we call a realistic statement. It's nice that we're in the mix for so many elite guys but this is what happens when you go after them. I have as much faith in our coaches as the next guy but in the world of college recruiting you could get em all, or end up with none. I remember when no one thought we'd get Manti, or last year when Niklas chose us in the home stretch. You just never know what's going to happen, and it aint over til the fat lady sings!

The coaching staffs tend to know where they stand with guys. I feel the amount of energy they are putting in lately with Agholar, Armstead, Shumate, Wright, etc..

They feel they can land them. Like you said, they can miss on all of them but I believe our chances are better than some realize.

I agree with you 100% but following recruiting can lead to high blood pressure and ulcers! That's why as good as I feel about our staff you just can't tell what's going thru the mind of an 18 year old. I think that we're in great shape with all of them and our recruiting is definetaly on the right track......part of me doesn't want to get my hoes up and part of me is afraid of jinxing us with too much confidence.

IF all the current commits stay on board, signing 3 stars from here on out would be far from the end of the world. The class is still solid, and I'd still be happy with it. Fortunately, that won't happen though. We will get at least 2 of the high-end targets left on the board.
