It doesn't matter because Houston WILL NOT stop Michigan so if the Wolverines even get 2 or 3 stops they end up winning the game by 14+. Houston should seriously onside kick after every score.

No kidding! Look at the points these crap teams put up on them! I know they score a lot, but against awful D's. UCLA is the best team they played & they finished 6-6.

at Louisiana Tech W 35-34
Georgia State W 56-0
at UTEP W 49-42
East Carolina W 56-3
Marshall W 63-28
Rice W 73-34
at UAB W 56-13
at Tulane W 73-17
Southern Methodist W 37-7
at Tulsa W 48-16

Keep in mind that it is very common for high scoring teams to give up a lot too. Most of them play a bend-don't-break defense because they know that all they have to do is slow the other team down, not stop them. Houston is the type of team that will not shy away from a shoot out with anyone. They really don't care if the other team scores, as long as it takes them time to do so. This plays to their strengths because they know that they can score faster than almost any team they play.

The "FYI" from #NotreDame sports info says ND expects bowl announcement (officially, anyway) between 8-9pm ET on Sunday.

^clemson wouldn't be a good matchup for us, but I'm convinced that andrew hendrix will produce 300+ yards of offense and 3+ TDs so i don't really care who we play :)

So Houston is out of bcs right?!

More than likely but they only have to be ranked 16 or higher and ranked higher than the Big East Champ in order to qualify for an Automatic Berth in the BCS.

EDIT: that would have been true if they won their conference but since they are not a Champion of their conference they do not qualify.

I was thinking the same thing plus, as scum haters, we want msu to beat uw, because bcs at large would pick scum over msu but not uw, correct??? I hope that question is not to confusing, lol.

So, with Clemson beating up on VaTech, does this mean we most likely get FSU (assuming the Champs Sports Bowl picks ND)?

Looks like FSU.

And in related news, with ND I just played a random guy using FSU in ncaa. He quit on me in the 3rd quarter, lets hope this happens in real life :)

The Citrus Bowl was the Tangerine Bowl when I was in high school 1966 through 1970. According to Wikipedia (I could have checked it out in person a month ago when I was in Orlando to visit my younger sister):

"In 2010 the natural grass surface was replaced with AstroTurf Gameday Grass 3D after the 2009 Champs Sports Bowl and 2010 Capital One Bowl were marred by poor field conditions that led to two football player injuries."

Close, but I think OMM's opened a few years before mine.

Either way, we're happy to have both of your insights on this board. Thanks for overlooking our youthful exuberance(and subsequent lack of critical thinking) from time to time.

LOL! I figured OMM for a one room country school house that was ten miles from his house and up hill in snow both ways.

I hope you know I'm just kidding, I'm probably only about ten years younger and I enjoy reading and learning from both you and OMM's posts.

Apparently Georgia Tech or Virginia are also possibilities because FSU may go to the Chik fil A bowl

Rumors are that Va Tech is magically getting into the Sugar to play scUM but that the Chic Fil A will take UVA still leaving FSU.

That doesn't make any sense..... you're telling me a bowl would take unranked UVa over ranked FSU?
