I'm watching the Packers smear the Vikings and I don't know why? This game was over before it started. Ben & Jerry's Chunky Monkey is awesome.

I prefer Cherry Garcia ... but I'm a Hippie, so it should come as no surprise.

Rudolph had a highlight reel catch toward the end of a pathetic (overall) game by the Viqueens.

I can play return game, WR, and safety the best. (I could also play running back, but I haven't played running back in pads in my life. No one ever gave me the shot.) Note though, I haven't talked to coach Lembo since the coaching clinic I was a part of. lol

I currently weigh about 160. I'm 5'8...maybe 5'9...I like saying 5'9.

I also had not lifted ever until last year.

To walk-on, I'd worry more about speed, agility, and endurance. I tried out at ND a few years back for WR at 6'3 220 and could run decently (being sick didn't help) and they told me to cut a bit of weight and come out again the next year. They said for walk-ons, they pretty much are just looking for guys that can run. The first rounds of tryouts were all agility/running for 60 min. So my advice for you would be to concentrate on speed/agility while bulking up a little bit.

Do you think they'll get a new stadium?

Agility is no problem for me. Endurance, perhaps.

I'm not even sure if I will go through with it now though because in the past four weekends of playing football I have severely strained my hamstrings 3 different times (although maybe not playing this weekend will give my legs an better length of time to recover?). My left twice and my right for the first time this past Saturday (on the first ****ing play! I was going to school some boys and take it to the house too!)

Do you think they'll get a new stadium?

Probably. And, in spite of a majority opposed to it, built with substantial tax revenues generated by an increase in sales taxes or additional gambling facilities in the region. Imagine the hue and cry, the furor were ND to ask the residents of St. Joseph county to pony up one 60% or more of the cost of a new Notre Dame stadium – complete with private (old fart) boxes, a jumbotron and field turf?

I have many more opinions and much more to say on the subject, but no one here wants to hear it so I'll shut up for once in my life.

It's been a week apparently since my thread was in action. It's time for an update.

So slightly humorous bump will be:

I've noticed that although I'm still just 18 (half-celebrated my half-birthday just eleven days ago) I've received 7 or 8 alcoholic gifts on this site. Of the remaining 7 or 6 gifts I've received, one is a viagra pill. I think I've received more beers on here than most of the posters actually of legal age. HAH!

Also, if I don't get the chance to say it to any of you before the day comes, have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

I'd like to hear more. I wonder if they don't get a new stadium, would they head to Los Angeles? The Vikings that is, not the Fighting Irish

So I told my mother the good news, but she is really the only one that knows before the rest of you on this board.

I'm happy to announce that I've landed my first real coaching gig at Muncie Central High School. I'd like to think that for someone my age I'm making huge strides in becoming a successful coach. This is my first real big step to someday becoming a head coach at the University of Notre Dame. ;)

Grats, Beau!

What are you exactly? Head coach? WRs coach? Assistant Jock Strap Launderer?

If I was head coach that would be ridiculous considering I went to school with half the kids on the team. lol I don't have a position yet. My guess would be JV coach and a position coach. I think we just had our QB coach leave so that may be where I'm headed. Hopefully I find out soon so I know exactly what to focus on at my next coaches' clinic! haha
