I read on Rivals that they think Stephon could get up to 305 to 310 lbs and could become a DT. So if he does get upto 310 lbs could he play NT in the 3-4?

Possibly he could - it depends on his frame. He seems to have the ability to put on a lot of good weight. However it is difficult to tell without seeing him in person.

The thing about a 3-4, though, is that Stephon has terrific speed! (The film of him on ESPN Insider has him chasing down a RB from behind!) Therefore, he could potentially play DE at 305-310 while still having the mobility required at that position. It would be a tackle's nightmare. Especially if he has an athletic end coming off the other edge (read Aaron Lynch), he could play DE at that weight. However, he could also move to the NT on obvious passing downs. Then you could put a Filer or Neal type of player at DE to get the maximum pass rush.

Basically, read that he opens many, many doors!

Future def at end. With his athleticism, height, and speed he could be a devastating force. 3-4 NT's are stubby bulldozers. Think Nix, think Vince Wilfork, think H. Ngata. Tuitt projects to be like a Richard Seymour type player. He will fill out but never have the girth to play nose.
