ncaa football 2011?

Anyone real good with this game? Just curious what some good offensive and defensive sets are that you guys like to run. I have the ps2 version now but will soon upgrade to ps3. I'm gonna be playing a friend soon and he always smokes me on big plays (kinda like the real nd team lol).

So any info or cheats will help. Thanks

I am pretty damn good man... I play with ND... 4-3 D man coverage against the CPU more zone agaisnt people...

bend but don't break... they'll throw more picks.

on offense I just use ND's playbook... I use off tackles, isos and such (money) to set up the pass, The play aciton sack is back this year so don't bother with it... but quick slants crosses and screens are money...

i play on heisman btw, is you play on something else all could be different

I'm pretty solid. Use PS3. Haven't played online in about 3 weeks but I was ranked #4 at one point but was like 70ish last time I played, haha probably nowhere near that now. Your ranking starts dropping like crazy if you're not playing about 5 times a day online. I use Auburn's offense and just go crazy no-huddle the entire game. I sometimes roll with Akron's playbook (its NDs old one with Weis), but playing online with LSU using Auburn's playbook is just unfair. I'm way too agressive and blitzy on D. I literally bring pressure on every play, so my D can be kinda weak. I usually win online games 50 or 60 to 30ish.

As is usual with these games, if you really want to win you need to find the glitch plays and exploit them - but unlike the amateurs who use them every play, only bust 'em out on your 3rd downs and or scoring situations. Finding the glitch plays is easy - just wait for all the high school/college kids playing 24/7 to figure them out, and then go to youtube and type in "ncaa football 11 best glitch plays" and start writing them down. Follow the other links with them, and you'll even come across great legitimate plays like this one.

It seems your best bet, though, is to get the mascot in on the action.

lol... there are always money plays if you look hard enough... but I can assure anyone that even on Heisman you can win without them and have a much more enjoyable, realistic time doing so...

Heisman is where it's at. I never played above All-American before '11, but when we did the online dynasty it is by far the most enjoyable. Four Verticals is a great play to run but make sure you have it from a tight end set. Usually he's matched up with a backer, allowing him to outrun the defender, and in zone, he will eventually run past the coverage, because he is slanting instead of going vertical. If you get a DB on the TE, the slot guy comes open on his vertical once you get the DB to turn.

Any way i play using PSU's playbook and pound the rock, you need to be patient and follow your blocks but once PA is setup you will carve up anyone

I upgraded when I got NCAA 09 on ps2 and it was identical to the year before. I said eff this went to game stop and got my money back and bought my ps3

I use ND's playbook with Iowa
multiple D
I do alot of basic D since my D Line is so awesome all I need is 3 or 4 rushing the passer most of the time.
in the quarters empty set there is a flood play...2nd play IIRC...i sub my 99 speed tailback in for the triangle receiver...the closest to the tackle on the quad receiver side....and hot route him to a streak
4 out of 5 times, even with a mid 80s speed tight end or receiver that guy will be wide open and you can hit him over the top for a big gain if not a td on most plays...or scramble out of the side with one receiver if you are covered
