Few if any big name recruits will go to Washington State, but if he beats other Pac-12 teams that certainly bodes well for us in our recruiting of them.

That's a great hire for them, but I agree with the OP that it is suprising of all the openings in CFB that he will end up at WSU. To each his own, hope he can make them somewhat competitive in the Pac-12 going forward.

Just don't recruit any more of Craig James' kids.

Actually I think it's a good fit for both parties. It's out of the public eye for Leach. I think he gets that program to where they were in the late 90s early 2000s.

It's a good job for him. WSU has a pretty good QB and an excellent receiver. Obviously, it'll take time for his system to be fully implemented, but the key parts are there for his offense.

Don't act niave, you ahole. We have been telling you to take them off since before the ND/UM game this year. You have stated that you will not take them down.

In my opinion, and many others, you should either take them down or get banned. It's pretty simple if you ask me. I am very happy about Leach. Living here in Washington, 50 minutes south of UW--anything to take a hit out of UW I am all for. And Leach isn't coming into a zero talent, he has 2 QB's that can run his offense. A very good redshirt JR QB that most likely will be given a 6th year because he didn't even play a full game this year and broke his collar bone and then another shin injury the 1st quarter he returned. And he is a solid NFL Prospect. THen there is a redshirt freshman who lit it up this year when called on. And thier 1000 yard receiver Williams. And a good 2nd option reciever. So, he will be fine. Defense like Tech is their issue.

Anyhow, good for WSU.

Now Coach Kelly get us top flight DB's and skill guys!

Also, I'd be willing to bet money that if one of the IE guys went over to MGoblog (or whatever it's called), and they had Sig's that were disrespectful toward Michigan, that they would get banned in a heartbeat.

Basically, all I'm saying is: If the shoe were on the other foot....

It's hard to imagine how quirky the guy is.

I recall Mack Brown, I think, laughing talking about the crazy convo he and Leach had before a game about his tennis shoes. It was an easy ice breaker in an otherwise tense situation. Both were undefeated if my mind plays correctly.

Regardless, I still hate Craig James for screwing me out of witnessing something great just a hundred miles down the road every season...

He's recruiting out of SouthEast Washington now, not West Texas. The regional talent pond is a hellava lot smaller. No fanatical HS football programs, no oil industry boosters. He's got the smallest stadium in the Pac-12 at 35K, 18K less than in Lubbock.
