Highlights from his game last night.

There's some cursing via the music so if you don't like that I'd suggest you mute the video.

Thanks Beau...much appreciated

His QB just hucks it into the air, hoping that Chris comes down with it.

and even in double coverage... he does.

Chris is going to be a beast in Kelly's offense.

He seems like he'll play Y receiver, and will be nipping at Jones' heals from Day 1.

Mr. Brown, what did you and Chris think of ND's uniform this week? Most people seem to have loved them or hated them.

I might be getting old but I love the regular home & away jerseys. Alot of schools are trying out the future look deal but ND has never been a follower and shouldn't have entertained the idea. Traditional ways are what sold me on ND and I feel it sells a great deal of parents. But hey like I said I'm getting old....lol!

In 3 games:

19 catches for 371 & 8 TDs

2 Punt Returns for TDs

My buddy's wife is an actuary. When people ask my friend what an actuary does, he tells them that "actuary" translates to "math eater" in Chinese (it does not). But maybe "Chris Brown" translates to "touchdown eater." Dude LOVES touchdowns!

Rest assured Mr. Brown ND won't be pulling Oregon/Maryland type uni's every week. They did throw-backs with Michigan due to the tradition and history of the two schools and being the first night game. Then you have the Shamrock/neutral site series games every year where it appears will have a uni twist every year. But besides that you will get to see the regulars week in and week out.

I feel the same way you do. Always loved their jersey's but if they change it up for one game every year on their neutral site game then I'm for it.....plus it sort of starts a whole new tradition of its own.

I agree. Chris loved the jerseys so in all retrospect.....it doesn't matter how I feel. He will look good in almost any ND jersey. I think when I see him catch his first TD pass I am going to actually pass out! Never met any kid that works as hard as he does. He may not be the best but nobody will out work him. I just hope the other WRs are ready to work hard and fight for playing time because he is going to bring it. In turn, the whole program will benefit from internal competition. Ok.... Now I am going off on a tangent. Lol

That kind of competition is exactly what the program needs in my opinion. I'm excited for kids like your son and Deontay Greenberry because they are going to push every other WR on the roster to get better too. That's what made USC so good under Petey. Practices were often more competitive than games for them because players knew they had to earn PT.

Justin and Davaris are workers as well. Davaris has done a lot of work in the weight room already - the kid has gotten big. Justin has improved greatly just from his Jr to Sr year, both physically and mentally. Constant competition = constant improvement, IMO.

It also means depth within your program. If a kid gets hurt there is no drop off. Which hasn't been and isn't the case at WR right now.

Oh no doubt about it, I didn't mean to imply that others aren't going to be competitive and work their asses off. And it isn't limited to just WRs either, Tee is going to push BJax and Lo, Jarron Jones is going to push everyone on the line, etc.

No doubt about it! Although I am excited and proud as a parent, I am more excited about the outlook of the program and where it's headed. I actually believe if you give ND two more solid years we will be contenders for the National Title! Mark this down.......it's going to happen!

Pretty sure that's one of my favorite things to hear.

Tell him he better bring it though because we've had a couple other recruits say the same thing. ;)

What's up Beau? We have all heard promises but just refer back to these posts when it comes true. ND is going to be a team that everyone is going to hate to play!

I feel like I'm talking directly to Chris! Don't worry, I believe you. haha

I seriously can't wait til Chris is tearing it up for Our Lady!

Note: Both Cam and Everett had the Last of the Mohicans as a background song to their videos? lmao Maybe we should be the Fighting Mohicans? ;)
