Geez do I hate seeing a commit's name pop up randomly! I have no reason to doubt Taylor's commitment, but still - geez. Glad Taylor will be making more trips to South Bend. I'm a big fan of his.

I don't think you have to worry about Decker leaving. He's the one kid on board so far that I believe is 1000% NDs

This is one of the area's the staff has done an excellent job at, recruiting O-lineman. Will we ever have to worry about our O-line being bad?

glad to hear this because i was wondering if we would start losing commits because of the bad start.

From recent comments I've read, most recruits seem willing to give us a mulligan on the first two losses since we clearly beat ourselves in both games. If we lose against State, though, the exodus will begin in earnest.

Probably not a coincidence that there is a Scout staffer that lives very close to where Taylor attends high school and he was at several of his games scouting this year.

Not doubting Decker's ability one bit, I think he is going to be a stud, but it just shows how biased the rankings really can be.

Or it could be that since he was close to Decker he was able to get a closer evaluation on him so the Scout grade could be more accuarate then the other services on Decker since he has been able to study him more............

Very well could be. Just sucks for guys like Chris Brown who we all know is good but gets no love from the services because of a lack of live scouting.

Hold strong young man.

Meyer has been on the phone with all of the top offensive line prospects in the Midwest. That includes Jordan Diamond (Chicago), Kyle Dodson (committed to Wisc), Taylor Decker (committed to ND), Nick Davidson and, yes, Kyle Kalis.

Maybe I should take buzz out but Meyer is going hard after him and a couple other midwest OL.

Well I figured you could say that about all the Ohio players but you made it sound like something is happening..

Good Lord Man!!!!

I said before that Decker is the most solid commit out of them all ----- don't make me wrong Taylor!

You should definetely take the word buzz out. That term has a certain connotation to many of us. It shouldn't be used lightly.

Urban taking Kalis back would make me smile.

Meyer may bring out the I had dream pitch. lol.

"I may die, but at least I'll die happy knowing that I had the privilege of coaching you (insert name here)."
One month later: "JK, I'm gonna quit."
One year later: "JK, I don't care about my family as much as I thought, I just wanted out of Florida"

God I hate Urban Meyer. Interesting that the OSU coach's initials are UM, though.

IDK if I was a 17 year old kid I wouldn't buy what Meyer is selling. He'll be coaching there for 4 years, sanctions will start to come down, he won't be able to physically handle the pressure and will need to retire for a third time.
