Depends on time frame. If Kelly is aiming to compete next year, it has to be someone with experience. And that's Rees with perhaps some secondary co-QB role. If he's looking out further, he can go younger. Since next year he will have three classes of recruits plus seniors like Manti, I'm guessing he sticks with Rees as the main QB with some shared duties.

As I live in California, and don't make it to many practices, I'll have to leave it up to Coach Kelly.

I'd suck as a football coach because I let emotions get into my decisions.

Danny Spond was the QB on my nephews youth league football team and they were 71-1....so you can see where I'm going with this.

I think Hendrix could be pretty good if he picked up the rest of the offense, so he gets my vote for the future. I'm supporting Tommy right now because he's the QB of the present, he's our best option as this time. Golson may be better than both, but we really haven't seen him at all so theres no telling.

Had Gunner been named he'd probably be the runaway fav. The Other voters weren't thinking Luke Massa.

This survey one again proves Holtz's Axiom, "At Notre Dame, the fans favorite QB is the one not playing". I supposed it could be modified to, " ... or the one not even in college.

Yeah, that's not just an ND thing though. The most popular person on every team (with the fans, anyway) is always the backup quarterback.

Unless you have a QB who is giving you an Aaron Rodger's-like performance every week, there is always a contingent of fans that want to see the backup QB over the guy currently taking the snaps.

MAybe its just me but for anyone to vote golson is somewhat crazy. I have only seen high school highlights....havent seen him play a down in an Irish uniform....Tommy isnt our guy, and I was a tommy supporter but it doesn't seem like has IT. for the moment Hendrix is the dude.......he gives coach kelly the best chance the same offense he did at cincy....not to say that golson isnt good but at least we have seen what hendrix has to offer....
