Would like to hear more of the story. Seems pretty convenient it comes up the week of New Mexico State and not Florida.
Agree on the timing, but what if it leads to a loss? Who would you rather lose too, Florida or New Mexico St.?
Confused? I would rather lose to a quality opponent. If you read the article above they will be on their 4th string rb and two fullbacks. This thread was just discussing Richt and his job security. I would imagine a loss to NMSU doesn't make his job more secure.
if Richt losses to New Mexico State he will get ran out of the state and wont be allowed back in. Main board would be in meltdown mode. It will be like bartman with the Cubs.
Kinda like if Kelly ever lost to Tulsa............oh **** never mind.
Apparently a Georgia site says the players failed a drug test administered last Thursday. Interesting.

Pulling for Georgia to lose to Tech.
This just isn't going to happen.
It very easily could happen.
We have gone over this earlier in this thread! Look back two pages please. I will now quote myself:I don't think Keith Marshall is basing his college career on how the next couple of regular season games go. There is more to it then the team's record.
In this case wins means everything to Georgia. If mark Richt gets fired, Marshall would most likely be Irish. But, if Georgia keeps winning, which means Richt keeps his job, Marshall is all UGA.

Unless richt loses his job hes going to Georgia.

Wrong...ND option number 2. Weis offense wasn't able to run the ball when he was the coach at ND. Weis offense wasn't able to run the ball when he was the OC in New England. Weis offense isn't able to run the ball at Florida.I dont know about that i still think Florida is option number two.
I agree with you, but his position strikes me as very unwise. Once a CFB coach is officially "on the hot seat", his days are numbered. So even if Richt doesn't get fired this season, there's a very good chance he'll get fired sometime over the next 4 years while Marshall would be there.
Good recruiter or is he able to keep instate talent in a top recruiting state?Mark Richt will be at Georgia for a long time. Too good of a recruiter and heck of coach.
