I liked the kid. Hope for the best for him.

Dream: landing Ifeadi and Noor and closing the books on LB

Hearing Kelly wasnt impressed with his effort on a play to play basis. Sounding more and more like ND pushed for this

Washington football's David Perkins has reopened his recruiting and decommitted from Notre Dame. I dont think this is bad news for the Irish. Was not impressed with his consistent effort play to play on the field.

Someone had mentioned a couple of weeks ago that ND was thinking of pulling his offer due to performance in the classroom and field. I think it was a poster who goes to the same high school he does or something

Curious where you heard that from Stevus? Not doubting you, it just doesn't seem like a reason we would stop recruiting a kid since it is definitely coachable, and just last year we went hard as hell after Ishaq who while uber talented had a bit of a reputation for struggling to go 100% on every play, and still does to some extent.

he may be an amazing athlete. but the fact that the staff would do this makes me feel real confident about ifeadi. we r loaded at outside backer and i think its safe to assume if we can only have one, most of us would prefer ifeadi.

How long after he commits to LSU will it take for him to become a 4* on ESPN? Over/under set at the very next ratings upgrades.
Oh man you are correct ESPN has him as a 4* now...Oh wait they have always listed him as a 4* and liked him more than any of the other sites.

Nevermind, thanks for clarifying. I think part of the problem aside from the possible grades issue is his lack of a true position on our team and we are still recruiting guys who fit the profile for OLB. I think at the time he was more intriguing to the staff because if we didnt land our big back for this class he could fill that role if needed. Once we landed Mahone, and with the staff feeling good about our chances with Odenigbo I think he lost a bit of his luster, especially if grades were an issue on top of it.

host of the radio show host ha, my bad i butchered the typing

You realize you can edit your posts, right? So if you make a spelling error you can always go back to that post, click "Edit", correct it, and be on your way. It's considered better than adding an off topic post to a thread.

Not trying to bust your balls. Just trying to help you out in case you didn't know.

teo4heisman , thats kinda what i was thinkin as far as ishaq goes. they seem similar so my only guess would be to think the staff only wanted 1 backer and feels very confident with ifeadi. just speculation, but thats really all that makes sense to me

Kelly just needs to land Odenigbo and this will all be an afterthought.

Exactly, after the OLB class from last year if we can pair Odenigbo with Okwara we call it a day and go balls to the ball for Jaylon Smith next cycle.

I think it could be possible for Dieter and Perkins to land on the same team. I feel bad about Boom, especially since he had that awesome sculpted Irish hairstyle back at The Opening. Good luck, David. If it's meant to be Irish, then so be it, if not, I believe you will survive.

Hate to lose any "commit" regardless of the circumstances. Wish him the best!

So aside from THAT Mrs. Lincoln, how did you enjoy the play?
