Yeah, I'm mad. We got out coached and out played yesterday but I still, and always will love The University of Notre Dame & The Fighting Irish. Thats why I put on my gear again today, to remind myself, I'm not just here to support the team in good times, I'll support them even more in the bad times.

It's not time for anybody to get fired yet. BK, BD and all the other coaches are grown men. They know they're paid to win. So far, they've shown they learn from their mistakes and I have no doubt......we will be a better team after yesterday.

Most colleges offer scholarsips to football players, Notre Dame offers scholarships to exceptional young men who also happen to play football very well. I guarantee none of us are madder or more disappointed than they are.

Today I feel kind of bad for Navy, our guys are gonna be looking to knock the snot outta someone. I think we'll beat them soundly next week.

I'm not saying we shouldnt discuss other options, question decisions or vent a little (or a lot), of course we will. Just don't get carried away with the drama. Lets support our guys and show our pride in Notre Dame.

PUT ON YOUR GEAR! Today is a new day and full of opportunities!

GO IRISH!!

I agree. No time to put a grocery bag over your head ... though our guys played the first half like they had bags over their heads.

i put mine on today as well. i always do.

when i was in la, a week after the "bush push" i went and tailgated with some friends at the the ucla v. usc game at the coliseum. yes, i wore my "shirt" and nd franchise cap.

and yes, i was accosted and verbally abused. i just offered a handshake and told them, "you won. good game."

this is not the end. and by 2014 we will be saying, "what is past is prologue".

go irish!!!!!

I wore my new pullover fleece taking my girls for a wagon ride. A guy passed me and said "the Irish really suck, dude". I had no comeback.

any news from the recruits that were there last night?

I can guess some news. I am sure the recruits are thrilled at how awesome our new and approved program looked in a big game. Clearly they know that this is a rising stock that they need to buy right away.

I bleed blue and gold, and Burgundy and gold in the NFL. Over the last two decades I have needed some blood transfusions. Anyone have a tourniquet?

I bleed Black&Gold(Steelers) in the NFL. I have been pretty happy with them for the last 5 years;)

I constantly wear ND gear deep in SEC country and no one has ever said a negative word about the Irish, to me. Sucks, man.

I wont be wearing ND gear today but that isnt to say Im no longer a fan. When big losses like this come about I just do what I did when we had a big loss in high school and just ignore football until next week. My senior year two of our worst losses we were the weeks the irish played Purdue and Michigan and I didnt watch those games that year because I was so upset I just watched movies, or played videos games and didnt think about football.

Thats what im doing now other than you guys and one guy in my class who is an irish fan Im not talking about it Im just hanging out with my fiance yesterday we watched the office all day long and ate pizza and watched thor. Ill never cheer for another team but I dont wanna think about for a few more days

Yeah, I wore a green ND hoodie yesterday.

Regardless of what the team does on the field, I'll always be a fan; we all will, I'm sure. Nothing's gonna change that.

I tend to be the same way. I don't want to even think about football for a while after a big ND loss. I don't know what it is but the older I get the more these losses get to me. Not to sound like a weenie, but I emotionally need ND to just a have break out year... soon

Gawd, tell me about it. 0-16 is a real possibility...

That would put them in the running for Andrew Luck, who would then be groomed by Peyton Manning, who will eventually become the Colts head coach.

I'm a 49er fan and want him reunited with Harbaugh.

I think John Elway is going to break open the piggy bank, and try buying Lucks way to Denver.

Best case Indy gets the pick n trade it. With the new rookie salary cap alot of teams could really throw some junk at em for that pick. They need alot more than a QB like a defensive line and a secondary and a defensive coordinator and a running game and well u get the point.
