What is the "uniform surprise"?

I could live with a green version of this year's Under the Lights design.

The all-white design might look good with UCLA shoulder stripes and striped socks.

Otherwise I'm not seeing much here to my liking.

Terrible? Other than the green tops/gold pants (the home version of the Michigan game uni), these are the best unis proposed in this thread so far.

May I ask what you don't like about them?

We wore an all white jersey in college and I liked it a lot, but we had white helmets. I just don't think the helmet blends well with the all white jersey. Obviously, on the field it may look awesome.

He may be throwing something out to distract from the real uniform change but I would assume the jersey's would have some sort of green in them.

NotJayRock is working with photoshop. I really like the green accents. I'm sure navy would look excellent as well. I also requested him to do an all navy version with either gold, white, or green accents and an all dark green version with either gold, white, or blue accents. I'm sure it's time consuming, so I feel bad asking, but hopefully he's able to do it. I'm sure they will all look really cool.

Jeremy, I haven't gotten this one yet, no need to apologize. I'd expect basic green jerseys. Have not heard any reliable info on that, though. When BK was asked last week if they'd wear green for USC, he joked that he didn't know they had green jerseys, FWIW.

I have to say, the all navy look has my vote for number one though. Keep the helmet gold and maybe add gold undershirt and gold socks or green undershirt and green socks.

I have a question for everyone that may reveal whether we just have a difference of opinion or not. For anyone that saw Cal's unis last night, how did you feel about them? I think you can guess that I thought they were awful, but the ones they wore in their previous game were great. Thoughts?

Maybe I'm being too traditionalist here, but football uniforms should either be white or dark. Everything else looks awful.

The Patriots tried a silver uni a few years ago and people were so upset they got rid of it:
