I was just talking about DGB this morning with a friend who follows Michigan recruiting. He said that Shane Morris (who my friend seems to think might be overall #1 on rivals next year) has been calling DGB to try to get him to come to Michigan. I very seriously hope that he does not end up on any team that we play.

You don't have to worry about that, DGB will not be going to Michigan.
... and Shane Morris is a punk and there is no way he will be #1 on rivals. Potential #1 QB but not #1 overall.

There's not a chance for every school for every player, not even ND. What makes you say we have a chance? Has he visited ND? Has he talked up ND to ANY reporter? Has he talked about ND to any other players? Has there been any noise coming out of his camp in the past 6 months about ND?
The answers to all those questions is no. But he has been to other schools and there has been lots of noise about him having a top 5 with ND not in it.
And with your example of Manti, the answer to all of those questions above was yes. I don't see how anyone even thinks we have a shot with DGB, sadly, unless something dramatically changes.

Correct, not to the media. I live in the small town he is from, have several contacts that are close to him and I have yet to hear anyone I consider a good source say anyone but Arkansas. He hasn't committed for a reason. He gets excited and blown away everywhere he goes. I still hope OU. So we can play him.
