Yup. Woods is in the Denard Robinson category. He will make plays. ND should domiate the LOS on both sides. If they do then it should be a comfortable victory. Then Kiffen can make up more excuses about why they lost

USC-types have no idea what is about to hit them; they are gonna get popped in the mouth. I cant see that defense stopping ND's offense, they just gave up back to back 40+ games. Not to mention ND's front defensive 7 versus USC's oline; ND should dominate the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball.

While I agree that USC types are a little too cocky about this game, this is foolish. Pitt stopped our offense pretty well, and USC has much better players than Pitt. USC has some good O-linemen (I think their LT-Mark Kalil or something-is supposed to be one of the top 10 picks in the draft). Matt Barkley is really good and Robert Woods is just as good as Floyd. This will be an epic game and I'll be happy as long as ND ends up on top somehow. I would be shocked if this is a blowout either way.

Technically, we're 1-1 since we beat Army while wearing green. But I'm with you-nothing beats gold and blue

While I agree that USC types are a little too cocky about this game, this is foolish. Pitt stopped our offense pretty well, and USC has much better players than Pitt.

As the ND - USF - Pitt triangle proved, the transitive property doesn't mean anything in football. USC's defense has been bad-- they're currently ranked 67th nationally for defense.

USF and Purdue are ranked similarly. Michigan and Pitt have better defenses. MSU's is much better.

USC has some good O-linemen (I think their LT-Mark Kalil or something-is supposed to be one of the top 10 picks in the draft).

Kalil is great, but one OT does not an OL make. USC has not been able to generate a consistent rushing attack (ranked 57th) and they haven't been able to give Barkley more than a few seconds to throw on a regular basis.

ND's problems this year have been self-inflicted....2 straight games now where the problems were corrected. if that trend continues, I stand by my original statement. USC is gonna get smoked, only way I see this not happening is if ND starts the turnover thing again.

Not that Notre Dame is in a conference, but teams from the AQ conference in the last decade or so actually have a <.500 winning percentage after a bye week.

I agree with you 110%. Also, people would be crazy to think that Brian Kelly wont have this team ready to play.

Do not get it twisted. USC can beat ND but as long as the team plays disciplined and holds onto the ball it should not be close
