Even though he was supposedly approached about that job 2 years ago?

Two years ago, they were under investigation. The penalties had not come down yet. I am not saying it will be this year. I could see it happening after Kitten gets them thru the penalty years.

I hope someone brings our ~300 yards rushing tonight to Marshall's attention.

How could you not want to be the runningback in this offense? Cierre is in the top 15 in the country against a tough schedule. By the end of the season if he continues to dominate he will be easily have 1300 yards and Jonas Gray has an outside shot at a 1000 if he gets some more carries, I mean he is averaging 8.5 yards a carry.

Yes. We've faced the toughest part of our schedule already and since the Michigan game he has averaged 77 yards a game. If he stays at that pace for the next 8 games that would leave him at 942. What is such a stretch about gaining an additional 60?

Winning a game on a visit, I am told, is not that big in comparison to everything else that is done on an OV. Ask Mr. Te'o

On a side note Cierre Wood (weessstsssiiidde) is on pace to break ND's single season rushing record

I love it! Now we got both Darby and Mahone recruiting him for us. With the atmosphere at the USC game and his friends there to be in his ear the whole game, I really think we can make up some considerable ground on his OV.

This kid Mahone is the real deal as a kid. He's a great runner, obviously, and I'm excited to have him from a football perspective. But he just comes across as so well spoken and thoughtful, he might be my favorite recruit in this class.

Not sure what to make of the bolded part, but I agree with the rest. To me a binky is a pacifier and that sounds sick and wrong.

Ha. I'm not sure if that is the genesis of it, but where I'm from its a pretty common expression that means your guy or your thing. Certainly have no interest in the kid as a pacifier. I didn't realize that wasn't a phrase that people are familiar with.

IMO the best part of the twitter convo is that Keith wrote Will first.

^^^^This is what will set us apart from UGA. Love Mahone getting in Marshall's ear. Mahone, Darby, Shepherd, and Greenberry all may be our best recruiters for us.

Urban Dictionary: binky

read definition #1, though #3 is not one I have ever heard referred to as a binky.

Oh my! Well, trust me, I was not intending any of the meanings there! I'll just go back to my post and change it to a different word.

In New England, people use the word all the time to refer to a player they are particularly invested in, and the guy is typically somewhat off-the-radar. For example, Tom Brady isn't anybody's binky - everyone likes Brady. But if you loved Julian Edelman way more than any of your friends, Edelman would be your binky. I think it started with Michael Holley's man-crush on Ellis Hobbes a few years back.

It isn't meant to carry any creepy innuendo, although I can see why if you heard it and weren't familiar with the parlance it would seem pretty strange.

lol WELL THEN...

I too had only known "binky" as another word for pacifier and not as a "great guy" or whatever that crazy Rhode Irish guy said...who the hell is he? ;)

I do appreciate learning things, and that is pretty interesting. I know slang differs between regions, but New England ain't THAT far from the Midwest is it? lol

You don't have to change it. I think it is just the parent in me that hears and sees the word binky rather often. I know that you don't mean anything creepy about it.
