I'm gonna go out on a limb and say those are practice jerseys. Hope this helps.

To be honest though, I miss the days when gameday jerseys looked like practice uniforms. Well, except practice uniforms nowadays look better than what I'm talking about.

And I know, I'm not even alive to ever have experienced those days, but let's be honest with each other, linemen looked BADASS in jerseys like those.

Oh by the way Pitt is second to last in the nation in pass defense... Go Irish!

And they're Top 20, against the run. Now, that could be because their pass defense is so bad that teams don't bother to run, or it could be that they are stout against the run. Guess we'll find out tomorrow. Although I'll be at work!!!

They're good, but poor conditioning and a lack of depth should allow our OL to put 'em on roller skates in the second half. Even with Pitt's quality DL, I still think our OL will get enough of a push in the first half to keep our playcalling balanced.

Brandon Lindsey, while a good pass-rusher, is really small for a 3-4 DE at 250 lbs. We should be able to run right at him, especially if he's getting aggressive with his rush.

"It's now been confirmed that the jersey's with the stripes on the shoulder are in fact for practice purposes only. Not sure if the word had gotten out yet."

Take it with a grain of salt, but he's seems to know what he's talking about.

I agree. Pitt has a pretty stout D-line. Just ball parking it but, I'd say its similar to MSU's. I don't think Pitt's pass D is the second worse in nation (even though the stats say differently) but I believe Notre Dame will do some damage passing the football.

If they had blue stripes on the shoulders they would play even better... IMHO

Can I use this opportunity to say I am officially against the Tech-Fit jerseys? I don't think they look good at all

Can't believe I watched that whole thing expecting Allen Iverson to pop out saying something like "Practice?, Practice?" while bambi was on the ice.
