As we all know, we are all die hard Notre Dame fans. We talk about Notre Dame football all year round and we have all gone through the worst of times with this team. We bacically bleed blue and gold. But what do you guys like to do outside of Notre Dame football because at the end of the day football is just a game. What do like to do when your not glued to the tv on Saturdays during the fall?

I will go first. In the spring and summer time I am fishing almost everyday. It is just a passion that I have. I play high school baseball in the spring and summer also. Then fall comes around and I obviously start to get an itch for Irish football. In the fall, I do a lot of deer hunting. A lot of people dont know, but northern Indiana has great outdoors. Hunting gets my mind off the stressful things in life and it just keeps me relaxed.

Go Irish

Falconry and I just picked up fly fishing and fly tying. I will say this, the idea of fly fishing, for me at least, is far from the reality of it.

I would also really like to get into photography, but alas, being a student doesn't pay well.

Fishing (My father and I have a boat on Lake Erie)
Sports
For the last 6 years school has been my biggest hobby, and I'm getting sick of it. Come on May.

Seeing all the guys that fly fish. That is something I would love to learn how to do and plan on learning sometime.

I tired fly fishing once, but I could never find a small enough hook to actually fit in a flys mouth. They were all over the place too, just couldn't catch them on a regular size hook.

North of seventy, it's only reading any more. Used to be basketball, softball, and meatballs. Can't do any of those anymore. Preferred reading is the seventeenth century speculations on the insights of druidical natural magic and neo-science, and finding that I am not listed in the newspaper's obituary section. Sometimes I confuse the two pursuits.

Try putting a drop of instant glue on the end of your line, works good. Takes a bunch to make a meal though!

Now that makes sense, I don't know why I did not think of this before. Thanks for the advice, beats looking for such a small hook.

Videography, boxing, playing with my dog, watching movies with my sweetheart, drunk rapping, challenging friends to push up contests and taking their money.. Challenging friends to bets that ND will win and giving that money back.
