I think Kellys first two classes(barring this one stays together) will bring a different attitude.. more swagger. It's an invaluable asset to any team.

If we keep losing Alot of the top guys are going to go to other schools. Why come to ND and lose when you can go to Bama, Auburn and win. I am starting to think alot of players just dont care.

I like the optimism, but realistically we can't stand with Stanford still, and with the mental mistakes we're making I'm not sure we can hang with many of the teams on our schedule this year. We can dominate if we clean up some of those mental mistakes, 500 yards of offense in each of the last two games means we can move the ball...and the defense needs 4 full quarters of good stops as oppose to 3.

Days like this are what separate a true fan from a casual one. We are a "Band of Brothers," and must stick together in these dark times, and keep rallying the troops to boost morale. We are all frustrated, pizzzzzzzzed off, and ready to have a nervous breakdown (at least I am), but BK and the players know exactly what went wrong, and I fully expect them to keep fixing it. im surprised how quickly i went through the grieving process, im already over this game, because i realize that its a building thing. last years team wouldnt have even had that kind of lead at halftime, it wouldnt have even been close. hopefully i can still make it to the MSU game and spend gratuitous amounts of birthday cash at the bookstore (bdays on thursday if yall were wondering)

Honestly I admire the hell out of you for being optimistic but after these last few weeks im sorry i just....I jst dont see it happening this year I dont see anything better than 7-5 again and im already worried about next year without our playmaker. I kind of saw this coming from a mile away. When you get ranked 16th which is incredibly too high for the Irish who are very young team and pretty inexperienced at most places....the main place they are inexperienced is in the W column.....Weis never taught those kids anything character or what it takes to be a NOTRE DAME FOOTBALL PLAYER. BK will be fine and this team will win some games this year go 9-4 and Ill be a happy notre dame fan. You have build the bike before you can ride it...

I definitely understand that you don't want tons of people on here venting their rage on BK and some of the losers on the team but are you really going to go in the complete opposite direction? 10-2? I'm going to try to stay within the extremes and say that if this team fixes all of its problems, which they definitely won't, they can go 10-2. More likely, they'll lose to a few more bad teams and smoke Stanford. That way, we'll be frothing at the mouths during the offseason about how good we'll be in 2012. so 7-5.

No joke. I've never picked Notre Dame to lose a game in my life. Coming into this year i picked them to go 12-0, after last week 11-1, and now they'll go 10-2.

Too many people on this site b****ing about losing, everyone is a pessimist. Me, I can never hate on the Irish--someones gotta be the optimist. Was my heart torn out yesterday? Sure, but I'm not going quit on the team like that one guy who posted on the site earlier.

All this torment we go through will just make Our return to glory that much better--which of course will be this year when ND runs the table the rest of the year. Go Irish!!!
