I'm going to say Schutt, Mahone, Byron Marshall and Jarron Jones. In the order. By Sept. 17th.

I like it! I think your prediction could be pretty accurate, except I am afraid of losing out on Jones. I hope I am wrong and we land all three DL. That would be one hell of a pull after last year.

Doesn't Marshall have to finish taking his language class and take the ACT before he gets an offer?

Not sure why. We want three DL this cycle; Schutt, Day, and Jones are at the top of our board; and they all project at slightly different spots for us.

Schutt is the NT, so no real competition there. Day and Jones are both supposed to be SDE/ DT swing-men, but Day strikes me as more of a DT and Jones as a DE.

I don't think they'll scare each other off. If anything, it might help.

Im gonna throw a curve ball here. Dorial Green-Beckham will realize that this team is in the makings to be a National Champion. He will go to the USC and and witness the 31-20 Irish victory and commit on the spot. Hows that?

I will go on a limb and say Jarron Jones after the first practice of fall Camp. Then again I could be wrong:embar:

The wildness with Day and Schutt would suggest Jarron Jones, but all the love-birds-in-the-air would suggest Mahone.

Since I am always wrong on these recruit timings, I'll go with "whoever it is will be at the top of our list".... yep, that sounds about right.

As to prognosticating, as we say in West Virginia: "We can do'er if there ain't much to'er."

Come to think of it, that's what we say about everything in West Virginia.

I agree with Jones but if someone were to pop before him i'd say it would be Mahone or maybe Byron Marshall

I got a message tonight that there's a running back in the near term picture.

I'd identify the source but I've never met him. Nice guy that's had a good track record in the past. And no, I don't subscribe to any recruiting services.

It wouldn't suprise me (no this isn't a scoop, at least it shouldn't be) that the Day Decision ("only one seat left" ) and the resulting schutout should influence some prospects who've taken a look at the scholarship chart to grab a seat before the music stops.

I agree 100% with the last sentence. I recieved a text about that RB as well....From what I am hearing he will be campus next week if not sooner.

As for Ifeadi--- He did cancel his visit to ohio state. living in ohio myself, the ohio st fans that are connected are saying its a 2 team race with Northwestern about to fall off. That sc weekend atmosphere will ease Ifeadi on some of the things he is worried about. Stanford is a nice school and all, and I respect him for wanting to go there as well as NW, but you arent going to get ND/usc atmosphere at those schools
