He will go he will participate in non contact drills. Tee is in his ear for sure. This class talks a lot more to other recruits than i can remember in a long time.

it started with last year's class...i think with the whole social media fb//twitter is what is bringing our recruits close..being able to communicate...

I love hearing about oue recruiting coordinater: Tee. I don't know why, but I really want Shaq to be Irish, and have a good feeling about it.

I still think he is a long shot still, but as someone else mentioned about Treggs, if Cal tanks this year I think our chances go way up.

Tedford has only two 10 win seasons in 9 years... but has 8+ win seasons in 6 of 9. So depending on your definition of "tank" I certainly do not think it's a forgone conclusion that they will.

I must have confused Cal and UCLA this evening.

Cal doesn't ever seem like they are worth a darn though. I know what you are saying, they have had some success but I get what your point.

You were probably confusing UCLA and CAL

Cal is just notorious for being the "potential breakout team" that could "go undefeated" and win a "national championship". Then they "tank it" when it comes to "the hype".

I reminded myself of "Bennett Brauer".

Shaq ramdonly began following me on twitter. I guess Tee and Deontay are really getting to him. I must now tweet everyday about the wonder of Notre Dame.

You are the potential scapegoat if we don't get him. With great risk comes great rewards.

Haha I started following him a couple months ago an then I get an email today saying that he is following me.

I won't let you guys down. I will only tweet about the value of an ND education and subliminally convince him that going to Cal is not an option.

You have got to be kidding me...

I'm hearing UM's number this cycle is 26. Is that with or without EEs?

ND and UCLA are standing out among his top 5.

He liked Michigan growing up and likes Denard. That's the extent of it.

That's great news. The USC visit will hopefully be enough to push him over the top. He's one of my favorites in the entire class based on his athleticism and versatility.

...

We're in his top 5 currently.

He said UCLA and ND (which are included in the top 5) are standing out at the moment.

That does not mean he has a top 2.

Getting Thompson would be incredible; hopefully we're at the top of his list...
