I'm dumber now for reading that.

Oregon is a a better job than ND? Pfftt....

It's only because of the facilities and Phil Knight's checkbook.

I agree though, this list is garbage.

Ridiculous list. I don't even know where to start. They completely whiffed on every school but Texas.

If this isn't a joke then Andy Staples just lost all credibility with me. Yes, I disagree with where he put ND, but that is only the beginning of my issue with his list. Other than Texas at the #1 spot, I think I could make a convincing case that every other school listed is in the wrong place.

The reasoning ND was lower than expected is the fact that it is truly a unique job, and only a certain kind of guy would take it. Texas, OSU, Oklahoma, etc. are interchangeable with each other, ND is not interchangeable with anyone....

My opinion AS OF RIGHT NOW:
1. Texas
2. Alabama
3. Oklahoma
4. Ohio State (will drop to 10ish after sanctions)
5. Florida
6. Oregon
7. LSU
8. Michigan
9. USC (would be top 3 if not for sanctions)
10. ND

we play a lesser schedule than the big 10?? neverunderstood where that comes from... we basically play a Big 10 schedule plus USC right now...

This is a persistent and especially obnoxious misconception about ND's SoS.

Does anyone know where SoS averages over a number of years are kept? I know ND's is way up there, even since the "modern" era began with Lou's departure. Aside from the SEC West, I'd put our SoS up against 95% of conference schedules.
