yeah, I'm close to predicting Nebraska is going to embarrass this conference right off the bat in year one...

Penn St.???? ...anything is possible but, yeah....

After looking over most of the Big Integer teams, there should be a refreshing amount of parity in the conference once OSU starts to falter. Lots of solid coaches and not a huge disparity in recruited talent between Wisconsin, Michigan, Michigan State, Iowa, Nebraska and Penn State.

But if I had to pick one team to dominate in a post-OSU B1G, it definitely wouldn't be PSU.

maybe I'm wrong, as we all are from time to time on cfb.... but The Cornhuskers look above and beyond Iowa, Penn St., MSU, and however the hell else may step up in the Big Can't Count For **** Conference... lol

if Neb. survives the trip to Wisconsin and the game with tOSU they should win their divison... beyond that I won't take anyone in that conference to beat them in any one game (Conf. Title Game)...

ifI had to pick anyone else it'll be Wisky in a second

if im a D 1 coach today I'm having a big "reminder" meeting with my entire team about rules and ethics.

I'm also having every kid fill out a form showing which vehicle they own (if any) and who pays the bills

and you are fired within five years for running the program into the ground.

...now thats funny.

We'll see what Nebraska has...JOEPA'S odds are certainly better if Michigan and OSU are down...it was really a joke regarding another excuse for him to stay on....even longer...

Eh the Nebraska thing could go either way. But Joe Pa doesn't do much more than drink too much wine and babble. My old man has ran into him at State Stores in S.C. on a few occasions the past two years and has given me lovely reports.

Any thoughts/insight on when we could hear more about Pryor's activities?

How he treats his weekend bimbo's is the most telling. Oh, yeah, and he showed up at Tressel's farwell conference drivng a 3somthingZX, which I am told is a 45k car. He has had several, and his mom and another male figure have each had new cars.

Nissan 350Z
last year was 09 for them...replaced by a 370Z
So it's around a 30k car used.

He's a slimey bugger!
Cam Newton didn't even get half a dozen free cars!

That's absolutely epic if true. What did he do to get it suspended?

With probe ongoing, Terrelle Pryor’s been tooling around with suspended license | CollegeFootballTalk

"According to NBC4 in Columbus, Pryor has been driving on a suspended license for the past two weeks. BMV documents obtained by the television station show that Pryor’s license is under suspension until August for failing to provide proof of insurance. The BMV also told the station that there is no indication that he has any type of driving privileges."

I can only imagine...At his age, I'm guessing he doesn't care to maintain an image anymore, plus I'm sure he's a bit diminished from a mental perspective...add booz, and oh boy.

Now I have images of him standing at the counter with the jug of wine, in his white tank top (with sauce stains), boxers, slippers, and a rain coat...hair all up in the air...just beating on the cashier for raising the price 10 cents...

Am I close?

Zack Meisel did his job as a student journalist at Ohio State University and wrote a story that helped bring Jim Tressel down; now he's paying a price for it - ESPN

Regrets if this has already been posted:

ESPN article on the student newspaper editor who had a hand in exposing Tressel.
It's incredible (yet sadly expected) that people would threaten this kid. One side here is clearly right and one is wrong. I understand being upset if you are an OSU fan, but I truly hope that the police are involved with the death threats and the responsible party or parties are held accountable.

Despicable. I hope he releases that recorded conversation to the NCAA. "Everyone was doing it" + dozens of cars = LOIC.

I believe it says in the article that they posted the recorded conversation on their website (they being the Lantern).

Hahahaha...he wears pretty much what you see on gameday most of the time...and has a more expensive taste than Old Irish Rose can handle giving him...
A few more years and you'll have nailed it!

An alleged drug dealer dealt with dozens of OSU athletes; I find it hard to believe he didn't share some of his stash with his friends and customers. Dose anyone know what drugs he is accused of dealing?
?narcotics ?meth ?steroids???

This is the kind of stuff that makes me root for the Skunkbears every year when they play O$U.

Pryor arrived in WHAC in Nissan 350z with temp tags from May 24. He waved to the cameras.

Keeps getting better:

(HIGHLIGHTS BELOW)
Now, NBC4 has learned that Pryor's driver's license was suspended less than two weeks ago, and he is still driving.

NBC4 learned Wednesday morning that according to the Franklin County Clerk of Courts, Pryor has not been granted any driving privileges.

According to a report released by the Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles, Pryor is driving on a suspended license.

Video taken by NBC4 Monday night shows Pryor driving as he left the Ohio State University's Woody Hayes Athletic Center.

NBC4 crews also saw him driving Tuesday.

Documents from the BMV indicated Pryor's license was suspended for no proof of insurance and is in effect through mid-August.

He was stopped earlier this year for running a stop sign, last year for traveling 94 mph in a 65 mph zone and two years ago, for traveling 99 mph in a 65 mph zone.

If he decides to go, he absolutely will still get on a team and get a big
(relatively speaking, not BIG money, but a lot bigger than most of us) contract.

I take it you're unfamiliar with how the supplemental draft works, eh?

I assumed it was for filling up the roster from training camps and what not.
