Glad to hear he is somewhat interested and we are still in the mix for this kid. He will be a tough pull, but anything is possible and at least he is interested about us.

D.J. Humphries has three of his top five schools in place and is deciding on the final two. The offensive lineman from Charlotte said Florida, Tennessee and USC are his top three in order now. His final two will come from among Clemson, Auburn, UNC, N.C. State and Alabama. Recruiters from all of his favorites have been in. USC's Jay Graham was at his school on the first day allowed, and Clemson's Danny Pearman has been by.

Humphries sets announcement date

OL DJ Humphries of Charlotte, NC revealed on his Twitter page Thursday night that he will make his college announcement August 5th at his school. Humphries is down to USC, Clemson, Florida, Tennessee and Auburn. He has visited each of his finalists and is not indicating a leader at this point.

N.B. "USC" = South Carolina
