The comments he had about ND and Stanford. Just appeared to me that he seemed extremely impressed with Stanford.

Nobody even thought they were involved a day ago.

After scrutinizing those comments again, I wouldn't say his Stanford comments were any more favorable than the others. Noor could be a politician; every school's comments were exactly what you'd expect from a smart articulate kid trying to highlight the positives without giving anything way.

What jumped out at me was this: "Despite all of the issues that have recently happened..."

USC was the only school for which Noor recognized a negative. Does it mean anything? Probably not.

Sometimes I hate recruiting. And myself for following it. But mostly recruiting.

That didn't really do anything to quell my fears.

I was so full of optimism all day, now I'm pacing. I really feel like this guy along with the DBs we got already could turn us into a honest to God defensive powerhouse.

Of course I want Noor Davis. However, we're in a really good position at the OLB position; this guy isn't make or break for us.

I didn't mean to make it sound like it would be the end of the world, (you know how we can get around here) just that it might be one of the final steps at taking us to the elite defensive level.

(That even sounds drastic but **** it.)

i'm still feeling florida as well...had a lot of fun reading the past 7 pages. I agree with a previous post that stated how loaded we are at OLB right now doesn't make this guy an absolute must, but of course i'm not stupid enough to say noor would not be a huge pick up. Like the article said too regardless of where he picks i wouldn't count this staff out.

There is no doubt this kid will add championship level depth. Year after year these are the kids ND needs to land and we will be known for our defense in no time. Just one year of Lynch, Ishaq, Tuitt, Councell etc etc will only take you so far. Fill up that backfield now and we are a powerhouse D. Wayne Lyons to Stanford still pisses me off.

Today is the day when we all find out. I personally am not holding out much hope that we get him,, but I will be one happy guy if he does in fact pick us. Regardless, this kid is a great get by any university and is one of those kids that will succeed no matter where he ends up. This kid seems like one that has a good head on his shoulders.

Seems a lot like Ishaq, hopefully this ends the same way his recruitment did.

What time in which time zone is the announcement?

I hope he's Irish boys.

But remember: We win some, we lose some. In the big scheme of things, it's just a drop in the bucket...

I believe EST, someone correct me if i'm wrong.

I still am thinking that we sit good with this kid. Everybody seems to be in freak-out mode, but have faith bruthas.

Worker productivity may be at an all time low today.

I have a feeling he chooses ND, if he doesn't , not the end of the world. On top of that, he's a great kid in all the clips I've read about him. Good luck to him in whomever he chooses.

I went over to Blue and Gold, and Jason Sapp noted that a dark horse appears to be in play, as neither Floridia camps, nor ND camps have heard a thing...

That was his last late night update yesterday.

Ughhh. I don't care if he goes to Florida, just not USC or that damn cedar tree.

Let's not freak out if we miss out on this guy... You win some, you lose some, and you lose some.... Personally, I think if we have a 9-10 win season, add on to that the hyped night game, and BK's recruiting from last year I KNOW we're going to end up having a lot of studs wanting to go to ND...

Having said that, Noor, just don't go to USC. That place is a joke.

I think this is going to be another recruitment that will go well into December

So, Stanford's tree is a Cedar?

Wow.

I guess I never considered it a Cedar. I was thinking pine.

Poor moths...
