When I was a senior in high school, I once ran for 173 yds and 2 TDs. Also, in the same game I threw a 57 yard half back pass for a touchdown. I was just wondering what you accomplishments you guys cherish.

Senior year, rival town's team; down 2 runs, bottom of the ninth, bases loaded. First pitch - Walk off grand slam.

Only a regular season game, but nothing in my sporting career ever topped the celebration at home plate.

When I was 12 I put a WICKED crossover on Shawn Kemp during a 1 on 1 game with him at his summer camp in our hometown. Ended in a reverse layup and everyone there went crazy. It was dumb luck and I could never do it again but hey, that's my 1 moment.

I had so many great baseball games I couldn't even finger one anymore, that was the sport I really excelled at.

football wise I do have a good story... My Father and I both attended the same high school, both played DB and flanker... in the 70's my father had the horrid assignment of being matched up against Ronnie Lott in a game and was blown up on a play, according to my father Lott hit the living **** out of him and he had to leave the game... of course, it was Ronnie Lott.

20 some odd years later I play Lott's son while he is Qb'ing at Pacific high school here in so cal in the CIF Semi's... I got one good hit on him and laid him the hell out... they pulled away late and won the game by a touchdown but I always get to tell my Dad that at least one of us wasn't a complete pussy... lol

wouldn't say that was my 'best game' or anything, I don't recall anything else worth mentioning on my end in that game, but it is my best story I suppose.

I dated a few hot cheerleaders during my tenure. Looking back, I had great moments. I seem to only focus on how much better I could have been if..., though.

More focus, harder work, more understanding, etc., etc...

That's my standing on everything though.

I choose not to be the "has been" as often as I can.

6th Grade CYO basketball title game--27 points, from worst in the regular season to the tourney champs......

but seriously.....

College-14 tackles in one game, a defensive td.....but the most talked about amongst my friends and I---in a game the same season, I was pass rushing from my D-End spot (very poorly I might add, the behemoth tackle owned me), when all of a sudden the ball comes floating over the tackle's head and I pin it to my helmet w/ my free hand....Immediately turns into the chubbiest int return in the history of the game, stiff arming the tackle, slowest cut-back in history on the guard, break the tailbacks tackle, get in the open field w/ a convoy...AND...trip on my own feet about the 35 yard line.....

Junior year in high school. Our team record was horrible. We won only one league game. But, in that one win, I put up 22 points, 11 boards, and 9 assists. Just missed the triple double. What made it all the better, I did that on Rob Johnson (soon to be USC QB).

Not too much to brag about, but that was probably my best game.

I once scored 4 touchdowns in a single game for Polk High.

Classic! He's from my hometown and was actually a star in high school. What's funny is all the stories that he tells in the show are true.

Man now I'm depressed. All these these stories of success and I got nothin'. This one time I was at the 'bar' with my girlfriend. It was my birthday. While she was showing her tits to the table, I made out with the stripper that was topless on my lap. Not really a sport, but hey I scored in the game of life.

I played football at Damien HS, we were playing Upland HS (a hated rival). i dont remember all the stats anymore, but I had something like 5.5 sacks (including a sack on 3 consecutive plays) I knocked the Punter, and later the QB out of the game (legit hits, I was not a dirty player, and those guys were not seriously hurt, but they didnt play the rest of the game). My hit on the punter caused him to fumbled the ball the first 4th down of the game. During the game I had numerous tackles for loss (more than 5, cant remember), for some reason I could read the offense from the formations at the line before the snap. Their offense would come to the line of scrimmage, I would look at the formation and call the play I thought it was out to the defense. I would yell 'watch the screen!' and sure enough it was a screen. I would yell 'watch the dive!' and sure enough it was a dive. "Watch the pass out to the flat!' It would be a pass to the TE/RB.

Playing noseguard, i was double teamed all day, and sometimes chipped by the RB, and it all didnt matter, I was on fire!!! I also blocked and xtra point by breaking thru the line and catching the kick after the kicker kick it. The ball left an imprint on the inside of my left bicep, and it hurt like hell, but of course I acted like it didnt hurt at all! :D Just nonchalantly tossed the ball underhanded to the ref and trotted back to our sideline.

Playing at a catholic school, some of the guys were from upland and knew players on the upland team. After the game upland players thought we somehow got their playbook because I (#62) was calling their plays before they ran them. The game was played just after the 3day ran storm, the ground was not wet, but the weather was nice and cold, perfect football playing weather.

What really made this special for me, is that i played 5 years of pop warner football, and Upland kicked our asses every year. Until HS, and Upland never beat the team I was on again.

I'm not the biggest guy in the world, so my football career was unspectacular. But I could play futbol a wee bit. My best game was when I once scored 7 goals in a game against our h.s. rival. Scored the first off a lucky rebound, and then the rest was just one of those days when you're in that rare zone.

My second favorite moment came when my college coach hooked me up with a chance to scrimmage against the Los Angeles Galaxy (back in the days of Cobi Jones and Mauricio Cienfuegos) inside the Rose Bowl. I was a forward, but they needed someone to start on defense so I jumped in just to get a chance to play. It was pretty sweet, and even though I was fast and in the best shape of my life, I quickly realized why they were professionals and I wasn't. I'd be sprinting stride for stride with their forwards, feeling good about myself, and then BOOM...they were gone when they ball was played through. Those guys had a burst that I simply didn't have.

And guys, GoIrish is being modest...he was a baller who walked on at Valpo. He got to play against ND and Alphonso Ellis, which is pretty damn cool. Ellis even dunked on him, which I think is AWESOME. I wish I could say something like that!
