Surely its not an SEC school. These are God fearing schools with God fearing coaches. Why the players are even God fearing. I changed the people but can anyone guess which movie the "God fearing" part came from??? HINT: The town people were just as corrupt at the SEC schools.

My initial lean was an SEC school, but ACamp1900 has got me thinking Texas now. I can't recall him ever coming out with b.s. before and he seems sure of his statement. So its Texas. Thats my final answer, Texas.

Cal Tech---got to be it. Rumors about football players being hired for summertime jobs at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory have been rife for years. 'Bout time we got them!!

This thread has me so confused.

Everything is pointing towards UT.

As in...Tennessee.

Been scouring other fan boards, and the general consensus (from what I've seen) is Texas is about to be ripped to shreds. Everything I read was speculation from average joes, but many of posters kept going back to Texas and citing examples (that could be baseless).

Texas would make sense, and be a damn fine explanation as to why virtually all of their coaching staff was gutted this offseason.

I think a 5-7 season is why they got gutted. Texas is way too arrogant to fire guys over a pending violation.

While I agree that Texas fans and alum are some of the most arrogant people I've ever met (and I live and walk among them everyday)...

Mac Brown is one of the nicest men I've ever met. I know. It sounds crazy. I actually met him at a golf tourney and ran into him when I was finishing up. He looked over at my bag (complete with ND club protectors) and said "Notre Dame fan, huh?" I said, "Yes sir". He then said, "They run a fantastic program up there, at least you're not a LSU fan". I laughed my *** off.

University of Chicago---the long hushed-up Jay Berwanger affair from 1935. Explains why they had to give up football....I mean how ELSE can you explain it??

That must be it; I note that they haven't won a football game in decades.

I believe they looked at Stanford because they looked at all of the final top 25 teams from last year. There was an article up on SI.com that showed the top 25 teams, where they finished in the poll and how many arrests or charges their current rosters have faced. Stanford being in the final top 25 was on there.

As for the name "Will Lyles", sounds like a false name as in "Will Lie". Reminds me of the controversy around steroids being delivered to the home address of Evander Holyfield but being sent to the name Evan Field. Oh those clever boxers.

Stanford aparently did make the cut; but what about Pittsburgh?
