Kendall Moore wore 8 this season. I wonder if he's changing his number or if it's another double number on the roster.

Unless they are on special teams together, there is no reason for Moore to change numbers as they will never be on the field together.

NDinL.A. is right, and there are so many each year it's really not even an issue anymore.

We are going to have a full compliment of scholarship players for the first time in almost a decade...there will be a lot of this same number stuff on the team between O and D guys.

He reminded me of Golden Tate going after a jump ball in the endzone.

I was unaware that Mr. Bill was calling High School basketball games in Illinois.

As I'm going through google and twitter and formspring to see if there will be any surprises tomorrow my wife comes over asks what I'm doing and just shakes her head when I tell her.
Ahh well at least it's not porn.

Kelly on Daniels:

When asked on the und blog who he thought the "under the radar" player was that would make an impact/contribution right away, he named Daniels.

What if...

DaVaris were able to play basketball along side Golson.

Golson would be throwing up some TDs and Ally-oops to DaVaris.

That would be a site to see.

I saw that, If DaVaris can learn from Michael in the off-season, I could definitely see him getting significant playing time.

I think this adds to Kelly's comments on Floyd trying to make positive decisions for his life. He doesn't have to go out and train with a recruit that hasn't even stepped on campus yet, he is doing it because he is thinking about the well being of others (The Team) and how his decisions can effect them. Good for Michael Floyd.

So you guys think this was Davaris idea or Coach Kelly/Mike Floyd idea? Its great stuff regardless.

Davaris has put on a lot of good weight since the end of his season and is MUCH bigger than what he was in his highlight film. Kid is coming in ready to compete.

Davaris can't be the one who dreamt this up. It has to be either Coach or Big Mike. My money is on Kelly. Chicago is nice and handily nearby, with probably a lot of ND influence around. Sounds like another brilliant Kelly-type "outside-the-box" move, and also a subtle statement about what he thinks of the level of Daniels' ceiling [i.e. mile high].

could this possibly mean that Floyd may sit out for a game or two, so they need one of the younger guys to come in and compete right away? Just an idea, and not a bad one if in for fact Floyd is out for a game or two, if not this just adds to the possibilities of the offense.

At the OSU spring game this past weekend I talked to Tim Spencer(OSU alum, former Chicago Bear) the father of Evan Spencer(2011 OSU WR signee) who was the teammate of Davaris. I asked him what he thought of Davaris and he said he was gifted athletically and he could jump out the building. He said his route running needed work because he really didn't play much WR for their team. He said Davaris was a great kid too. By the way, Tim Spencer was a very nice guy.
