Not on this play, Hegarty was at LT and Drew was at Right DE.

Hegarty is #56, Matthews is #52. They look alike but it was Matthews. Hegarty is playing guard bro.

Townsend is going to Clemson. Big upset

Awkward moment with Townsend talking too long. And then South Carolina fans were told he picked them as he put on the Clemson hat....great tv

I didn't get to watch the whole thing, but from the bit i've watched saying Lynch looked good would be an understatement.

Guys Hegarty played awesome. He didnt play OT the whole time. He played OG and only got beat one time by Jernigan who happens to be one of the best players in the country. He played awesome.

#52 Matthews was the one getting roasted all game.

Hegarty was Guard

Beginning of the drive around the time of the fumble, Hegarty was at LT. Trust me, I took a cell pic of and rewound the DVR to verify. Hegarty also got owned by Jernigan when he was at LG though too.

So he played OT on one plat and OG on the very next play? They were back to back plays. Hegarty played OG.

I'm not worried about Hegarty...i look it as he was like NHL goalie in an all star game. Look at the front 7 he lined up against, that front7 was scary dominant.

Sorry dude, hate to break it to you but it happened. PM me if you want me to email you the pic.

I think he'll be ok too. I do believe he has been a bit injured as of late though too. Definitely wouldn't want his offer rescinded!

Post Game analysis:

Hegarty looked excellent minus one bad play. Nice hand contact and arm extension on the DLine.

Tuitt- I think he's going to be special, BUT, he plays WAY TO HIGH. He has alot of power and strength, but that will level out on the next level. He has a great ability to engage and shed the blocker (which is perfect for the 3-4 scheme btw). With some good coaching, he could be really really special.

GAIII- I feel for the kid.. He got put into a bad situation too many times. He is an athlete though and is still a special player for us.

Lynch- This kid is a stud!! His first move just puts him in a better situation on every single play. I loved the Jason Taylor analogy that they gave him. WE NEED TO GET THIS KID BACK!!!!

Williams- He is the perfect mold for an OLB in the 3-4. His speed is amazing. He needs to get stronger, but this kid gets the training/coaching, and he will be Manti'esque for this team on the outside!

All in all it was apparent that the EAST DLINE just manhandled the WEST all-day, especially in the second half. We have the opportunity to land the playmakers that the EAST DLINE represented.

These next couple weeks are going to fun to watch play out, and stressful at the same time. IF we pull them all in, this would be the greatest class I have ever seen ND pull in (in my life). Hopefully these kids will sit and think about what they could do collectively as a unit. If they look at it that way, instead of individually, I think we have a great shot.

C'MON BK, reel these boys home!!!

Interesting comment from Barton Simmons:

JC wasn't just one of the top performers everywhere he went. He was THE top performer everywhere he went.

MVP of The Memphis Camp
MVP of The Ohio Camp
MVP of The Opening.

We had already decided internally that he was going to be our center in the US Army Bowl before Bama even offered. No one in this entire class earned a bump more than JC.

The bolded would imply that 247 now chooses the players and starters for the Army Bowl

They select the players. It was announced months ago. How in the world did you miss this?
