Some interesting points in the interview.
He looked like he was caught off guard when asked to comment on each school, and he immediately went to talk about ND. Typically in a situation like this, people default to what they have thought the most about while they develop answers for each point. This is different than a rehearsed or common question like, name the schools you like. Edge to ND?
Coaching staffs/relationships are important to him. Stanford would seem to be eliminated here, and he mentioned positives from ND, Cal, and UCLA - not USC.
He's a smart kid, looking for a good education. I would put USC last in this ranking, with a slight edge to Stanford and ND.
He mentioned he likes small, private, and catholic. Edge to ND, with UCLA and Cal losing points.
Mentioned that it would be nice to be close to home, but that wasn't really a factor.
Putting this together I think ND is the leader considering this - say 60% chance. I do wonder if Lynch's decsion makes a difference? But if he is still strong on Cal, the number of recruits probably don't matter to him.
I like this kid and hope he goes Irish.
