yes, lock up bears at all times... they can be quite bothersome otherwise

When i bet my friend at the beginning of the season that the Jets would have a better record than the Bears, I never thought the performance of a 6th round recevier draft pick turned QB (ie Joe Webb) would play such a large role in the outcome. Curse my bad habits!

Actually Webb is a QB, turned WR, and turned QB again. He was fun to watch in preseason.

"Da Bears" are in dire straights even assuming they win tonight. They win tonight, drop their next two, GB and NYG both finish 10-6 with Chicago needing some tiebreakers to even get in the playoffs.

In other news, the Vikings look like retards for not grabbing Clausen in the second round.

All I know is I need the Bears to put a few points on the board (20+ would be great), and protect Cutler. If that happens its hello fantasy football championship game for me. GO BEARS!!!

How So? If they win tonight, they lock up the division and a playoff spot. They could lose the next two and still go to the playoffs.

and yes... oh yes.... they will win tonight...

In truth lies victory
The conditions are going to be so bad tonight that anything could happen. I would have thought that favored Da Chicago Bears but after last week you never know.

Congrats to Hester. He just got himself the all time record for returns.

Oh yeah, barring a Michael Vick sighting, looks like the Bears are playoff bound!

DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA bears.....

Here! Here!

Though I'd prefer "*******s" or "idiots" over "retards." I have a Down Syndrome nephew and I'm a tad sensitive to the term. My son (10 years his cousin's junior) and his buddies were subjected to my wrath more than once when I heard them refer to someone as "a retard" or something as "retarded." Don't get me wrong, "retard" is a perfectly fine verb, but as a noun it is generally pejorative.

Thus ends my minimalist screed.

****ed up my fantasy football team... God damnit, I'm not pleased... I win the regular season 11-3 and then choke the **** up in playoffs? Playoffs? I lost to a ****ing 8-6 team. I am not happy.

PS, If I drove a Dodge Stratus, I would have expected this nonsense

hater...

They have one of the best defenses and special teams in all of the NFL. They have definitely earned their playoff spot.

Not a hater. They are both good and lucky. You need both. They lucked out against Detroit, lucked out against GB the first time around and, more than anything, they are lucky they are in a down division. The only teams luckier are the rams, seahawks and 49ers.

Fwiw, the Bears are my #3 team behind the Skins and the Colts... so I am very happy they are having a blessed season.

Great win but I'm still concerned. We looked like a deer in the headlights last week vs NE. Winning the NFC North is great but were talking about a fairly weak division this year.

I've never been a huge Cutler fan but I feel like he's settling in. Hes getting better protection & not trying to force as much. Pretty solid 1-2 punch with Forte & Cutler. My confidence is up for the next couple years just don't see it happening this year.

On a side note.... Devin Hester is a BEAST!!!!!

I didn't get to watch a ton of the game seeing as I work the third shift. I left right after Cutler threw the TD to go up 17-7. Before that the fans were booing the Minnesota punter for not punting it to Hester... Loved coming home to see him return one to the house hahahahha.
