Great win but I'm still concerned. We looked like a deer in the headlights last week vs NE. Winning the NFC North is great but were talking about a fairly weak division this year.
I've never been a huge Cutler fan but I feel like he's settling in. Hes getting better protection & not trying to force as much. Pretty solid 1-2 punch with Forte & Cutler. My confidence is up for the next couple years just don't see it happening this year.
On a side note.... Devin Hester is a BEAST!!!!!
I am not really that concerned with the Pats game. I look at it like this, it was one game. No team goes undefeated anymore and if you are going to lose, lose to a buzzsaw team like the Pats. The weather also played a role once they went up big early. When you are playing in those conditions, it makes it hard to make comebacks because of the inability to pass the ball.
Look at the game were Denver beat up on the Chiefs. They went up 21 in the first quarter and KC was never able to get themselves back in the game. Happens all the time. The next time they played, the Cheifs shoved it down their throats. By no means am I saying that the Pats win was a fluke, im just saying to put it perspective.
Irishlax - I was just messin with you. I agree on the first Lions game. I know the rules read that the C Johnson td at the end wasnt a td, but that rule is bs. That is a td on every other level of football. I refuse to believe that the win against GB way luck though. We have mind control over GB.
