Florida, Michigan, Nebraska, Nortwestern, Notre Dame, Pittsburg, Rutgers, in no particular order that i know of because i didn't read the article, i just clicked on his name and it says who he has on his top, on his listed schools of interest.

but maybe it says more in the article but i'm not a member so not sure if there is more to it or not

Notre Dame better dismantle Navy at the Meadowlands this season, it's a safe bet that since he lives in New Jersey he'd be there. Then we need to blank Army 50-0 in New York. Too much talent in New Jersey not to show up and win games.

I am pretty skeptical about how much most of the high octane recruits really care about academics, but looking at this young man's choices, I think that he really does [Northwestern; Michigan's top five state university academic programs array; Nebraska's perfect graduation rate; etc.---hopefully the glitter of Florida will wear away and he will toss them off the list soon]. If what I'm seeing is true, then no University can defend a claim to a better undergraduate education than Notre Dame. Young Mr. Shuler: ND IS THE Academic/Athletic University. Please come and join our family.

I agree as far as the talented players in New Jersey but I dont think a commanding win over Navy will solidify us among top recruits like Shuler and Huggins.
Perhaps a good showing against a team in both their top 10's such as Pitt would have far more of an affect.

I'd imagine Shuler and Amir Carlisle are vying for the same position. Should be an interesting recruiting scenario to watch. Good to see us in the top 7.

Who do you think would be better in our system? Also who do you think we have the best chance with?
IMO I think Shuler would be the better of the two. We have lacked a reciever with his speed for awhile. That speed automatically demands respect. I think we pull Daniels and Shuler to help add depth to our already talented core of WR's.

We do have Bennett Jackson though, he is a burner.

From the measurables, they both appear very similar. Shuler may be slightly faster. I haven't heard much about his recruitment. He may just be playing it slower than Carlisle. I think we have a good shot with Amir Carlisle. He seems to be very interested and has taken a visit/camp so far. Again, AC has been committed to Stanford for a while, so I think recruiting websites haven't been covering him too heavily

Rivals.com Football Recruiting - Shuler realizes Army Bowl goal

Good article on Miles Shuler. Congratulations to the young man for his opportunity to play in this years U.S Army All-American Bowl. Aside from that honor, it goes into the fact that Miles will start focusing on his recruiting and that begins with a visit to Northwestern. The article does not list any favorites but does mention a few coaches he has been able to really connect with and feel comfortable with.

"I made a great connection with Coach (Pat) Fitzgerald of Northwestern, Coach (P.J.) Fleck of Rutgers of course, Coach (Bob) Diaco from Notre Dame, and Coach (Adam) Brathwaite from Michigan," said Shuler.

It is good to see Notre Dame still very much in the mix and it also answers what side of the ball we are recruiting him to play. Should be exciting to follow his recruitment with limited space left in our class.

Schuler was at Stanford this past weekend with Lyons and from what I can gather from the Cardinal boards, both their visits went really well..... We need to get on both these guys.

On another note, the posters over there are scared ****less that they are gonna lose Harbaugh.

He would add a good piece to our team. I can see him coming in right away and depending on his open field ability, I can see him being a great special teams guy right away. Having the ability to return punts and kicks for scores would be a huge thing for us. Even getting better field position at times would help out right away we need some explosive players on special teams.

I just don't see Lyons coming to ND. Huggins maybe, but certainly not Lyons.

Never underestimate the power of the Schwartz......
