That's great news about Golson. He seems like a great leader that would be the perfect general for Kelly's spread offense. I'm hoping for great news from him this weekend. Once he commits, then that will increase the chances of other guys choosing ND as well.

I have a question for anybody who knows.

Golson plans to play football and basketball. How does that work? Does he not participate in spring practice to play bball? As I recall, spring practice typically takes place during March Madness, and then the spring game is in April. If he's the starter, how do you go thru spring ball without your starter?

People have done it before, usually the coaches talk about it and figure it out. Sometimes it doesn't work out though. Anyone here remember Kevin Deeth from our hockey team? He could've also played lacrosse at ND, but because he was a star at hockey and the hockey coach wasn't thrilled about him splitting his commitment it didn't work out.

I watched this kids video this morning, and wow..... he fits extremely well into what we do right now.

when do you think it will hit the air waves??? like rivals ect. i understand how many other recruits check that every day, they can ride the band wangon and jump on when things get hot, and it seems were heating up.

Wow! I thought my eyes were deceiving me when it stated Notre Dame commit next to his name and not North Carolina.

So to all the guys who bash kids for changing commitments...Are you ALL going to bash Everett Golson NOW?

Well, no, because Golson's situation is much different, North Carolina could be facing sanctions....
