Florida State, last time I checked, is sucking too. It's comical to me how Meyer was able to work Prestwood, telling him things like he'll play TE, and Lynch to get them to decommit. I despise everything about those Florida schools and am absolutely loving today.

In other news, watching Kona and Prince play today made me soooooo much more comfortable about our OLB and DE situations.

Last week when he was at Florida State, the visit was "awesome and amazing"

And yes Florida State is not doing great but they have less depth and they were Lynchs second all along.

While enjoying the beatdown that is taking place in the swamp, I'd llike to say that I'd like both Prestwood and Lynch to hate their visits, but in the end, if they didn't want to be Irish it's still their choice. I hope they at least end up at F$U where they'll have at least some chance of making a life for themselves after their football careers are over. After watching our current freshman today, I'm not overly concerned about the future of our defense. I like the play of Kona and Prince. True that they don't start, but when they are in there, they are stepping up and making plays and doing things that make their teammates better.

While I feel Urbie is a POS, I don't think that much higher of the Ol' ball coach. He was in Gainesville for a few years running up the score on way undermanned teams. That being said, he's got a pretty good team @ South Carolina. It was still worth it seeing Spurrier sticking it to the Gators.

Maybe they should ask Justin Trattou how things worked out for him. Ask him how it feels to sit the bench for three years and not start until your senior year when the team sucks arse. But he's got two scout team national championship rings so that must feel good!

They are teammates at a high school in Florida. Lynch had committed to ND and his mother was pretty vocal about it (I think she was even posting here), he suddenly decommitted two weeks ago and is leaning towards FSU. Prestwood, his teammate and friend, had ND on his short list but dropped them at the same time as Lynch.

He has played sparingly. He only started four games in 2009 as a junior.
