oh my jesus a pissing contest between 2 year olds on what people they have and which one have better.....I think your both full of shit. I don't believe either of you know anybody. You might know Teo's 4th cousin's best friends brother but that doesn't mean anything. But I'm sure now that you both have taken a stance you will proudly proclaim, "My people knew all along." This is lame.

He dropped stanford but is high on academics. He dropped BYU but is high on religion... Who's left... ND which is high on both/ out of his comfort zone/smaller town/pathway to advance his beliefs/great tradition/upcoming team/ almost guaranteed job if football didn't work out/support of mission/...etc. The list goes on. Now, i don't know that much about UCLA's tradition or campus life but i don't see how it is a better fit than ND. In my mind USC doesn't have a chance but could be a wild card. It is ND and UCLA and ND has to be the better all around decision for Manti.

I am not being a homer, if i believed otherwise i would definitely argue that point.

P.S. NDOM, you are a buzzkiller. Negativity breeds negativity.

Not saying you're not right, but from personal experience that UCLA has a ton to offer. After ND, UCLA has always been a passion of mine and was my dream to go there. But I wasn't good enough at soccer (yes, soccer, go ahead w/ the jokes, but I did play football too ) or school to get a sniff there, so I settled for a soccer scholly at a much smaller school. But I took several trips to the campus.

Anyways, UCLA has a beautiful campus (not as gorgeous as ND in the spring and fall, but still beautiful), and has this weather that I'm enjoying right now (75 and sunny) 85% of the year. The beach is within 5 miles of campus. The girls are gorgeous (I know he's a Mormon, but he's allowed to have a girlfriend right?), and the education is very good. The football is on the upswing, with an exciting staff and a legendary offensive coach who is also Mormon. The QB on the team is also Mormon. They play at the Rose Bowl, one of the all-time great stadiums, and he has a greater chance to play and start there right away than USC and ND IMO. It's also a lot closer to Hawaii than ND.

Having said all that, UCLA does have its drawbacks just like any other school, I still think ND is the best fit for him. But I'm not him, so it's not my call to say what's the best fit for him. I will say this, if he chooses UCLA it will not be a bad life choice. I just hope he does choose ND!!!

So i was at Manti's high school the other day (Punahou School). I was talking with with a few peeps about Te'o and which University he will attend. The answer i got "wait toWednesday". As i walked around Punahou i realized how beautiful the high school campus is. Blue and gold everywhere (thats the schools colors).

From all i read and heard about Te'o he is Notre Dame fighting Irish 100 percent. Quotes like he wants to paddle his own canoe, "i want to open doors for other Hawaii athletes really tell me a lot.

USC and UCLA recruit out of Hawaii quite often. There are numerous Hawaii born student athlestes on thier football teams.

I can only recall oneHawaii born football player that was on Notre Dames football team (Jason Ching D line 96-2000)

I think that Manti will announce on monday that it is down to 2 teams Notre Dame and UCLA

"they're both full of shit"

hmmmm...i could be wrong here, but i do believe one is saying that manti is coming here while one is saying that he isn't, which means that there is a 100% chance that one of them is correct, which means that one of them...

isn't full of shit...

personally i think ndom is full of shit, but then again, maybe i'm full of shit

Has this been posted anywhere on this sight? I want to say it has already, but I'll put it on his own page. It's all over the place since yesterday:

Red Carpet Treatment - Inside USC with Scott Wolf

Seriously, this is some seriously cheesy stuff. I think USC just shot themselves in the foot with this kind of crap. Do they really think Manti is about this stuff, after reading everything he has to say? UCLA just nudged further ahead of UCLA imo. BTW, read the comments below the picture, and UCLA fans have some really good zingers in there. My favorite is from a guy who asks, "Who is the female in the picture? Isn't that an NCAA violation? (It's a picture of the back of Ray Malauga's hair).

Also, down here you're not hearing much about his visit yet, except it 'went well'. Normally, after a recruit's visit you hear all kinds of things about the experience, how great it was, the coaching staff, the atmosphere, the history, etc, but even the USC boards have been pretty tame regarding the visit. I know that they surrounded him with a bunch of Polynesian players and such, which is exactly what BYU did, and you know how that turned out. I did read a rumor on another site that one USC grad who is a ND football fan yelled out "Go to ND!" while he was there. Nice, if true.

Here's another thing USC did:

Another Te'o Update - Inside USC with Scott Wolf

Giving him #55 is the ultimate honor for a USC linebacker. At least they got that part right...

Manti went to Kahuku High his freshman year. This is a public school located in kahuku, the north shore of the island of Oahu. At Kahuku Manti was surrounded by family, friends, and other polynesian players.

Manti left Kahuku at the end of his Freshman year and enrolled at Punahou.

Punahou is one of if not the top rated school in Hawaii.

When Manti arrived at Punahou he was one of a few polynesian students.

The point i am trying to make is that if USC/UCLA/BYU think that surrounding Manti with other Poly athletes that may actually back fire.

And of all the poly players at USC they bring Rey to show Manti around USC.. What a wreck that must of been....

Lmao that is freaking great. Maybe he taught Teo how to freak out and offend hot married women (Erin Andrews).
