He's picked up two quick offers from the in-state schools and has been busy on the camp circuit hitting NU and ND.

Bring him in as a safety or DB.

Or monster back. Does that term still apply?

Looks like Darboh is showing a little Irish love, per ISD.

“I really liked their coaches and they liked me,” offered Darboh. “They didn’t just put you through the drills, but they also helped you out. When you were doing something wrong they showed you how to correct it. The camp was fantastic. I really want to get back there for a game this year. I’m going to go either at the end of this month or at the beginning of next month.”

Also showing an interest in the business school.

ISD has also confirmed he will attend the spring game.

He will be attending with Eric Lee. Lee is Darboh's former teammate and is a member of the Notre Dame family already as a preferred walk-on. This will be his third trip to South Bend. He also visited Iowa State last week and hopes to visit Iowa and Wisconsin by the summer.

WR #25, 4*

This kid is a very likely commit.

• On Darboah, ND looks to be in good shape along with Iowa, coming into town this weekend with a baseball player that’s going to play at ND.

Boo! Although I'm shocked we got any commits, much less 3 great wons, with that ridiculous weather.

Were you there? It was abysmal.

Anyway, I still think we're in good shape with Darboh regardless of the non-verbal.

Nah, but watched it on TV. At least it didn't snow like it did for the beginning of the lacrosse game tonight... that was an utter slop fest in the first half.

As I've stated before: Wet, freezing, windy, unpleasant. All of this because Tom Hammond was there.

That man scares me...if he even is a man...I don't think he's even alive anymore...his skin doesn't look real. He's either a robot (his boring monotone voice lead me to believe this) or it's one of those "Weekend at Bernie's: 2" type zombie revival situations...

Any thoughts?

I think we're sitting pretty with Darboh. This recruiting cycle really is still in it's infancy.
We're going to get receivers, and some good ones. I think this class may end up being another excellent job by Kelly and Company.

yes that is good news...two visits in 3 months is pretty solid...just think we could get Darboh and Greenberry committed in one month

He'd better hurry before Greenberry eats his lunch.

If both Darboh and Greenberry commit [which would not be at all a surprising possibility], do we close the WR book except for a certain guy going by DGB??

Probably. Though even in that scenario, the lack of a true slot receiver would bother me a bit. C'mon Treggs!

I think Treggs would be in that group as well. We need slot guys

Yeah, I think we are going to load up on skill guys this cycle (WRs, RBs and DBs), even to the point where we would take more than the #s would recommend. Similar to how we approached linemen recruiting last year.

I think Greenberry and Darboh can share lunch. those 3 wr's and treggs in the slot would be great.

I was working under the assumption that once we got two boundary receivers, we'd only take a slot guy after that.

But I'm sure that Kelly would happily take Ferguson, Greenberry, and Darboh, while holding a spot open for an elite slot receiver.

I like Chris Mangus at slot and RB...hold a spot for him
