I am walking around my office celebrating... I haven't ever done that in my 20 plus years as a ND fan over two recruits. Stephon is so huge, because now, they can't double Aaron, bc if they do, Tuitt comes off the edge, if they double Tuitt, Aaron is going to make people say ouch. I love it.... FIRED UP is an under statement

What is better than winning 10 million dollars.....winning 20 million dollars of course... I think Opposing Qbs are going to get some extra rib protection after reading this for the next 4 years

Our front 7 is going to be freaking amazing!!

Does anyone know the breakdown of all our DE's and whether they're DE's, Dogs or Cats? They all seem a little heavy for Dogs.

Regarding Birdman's quote: the idea that this is the best combo O&D-lines class in the country is not fan bluster and Birdman has plenty of "official" support for his claim. There are NO two DEs better than the set of Lynch and Tuitt. Our O-line recruits Hegarty, Prestwood and Hanratty rate way up there, and if Carrico and Springman join them on that side of the ball, they comprise a complete set of blue chips. [and of monstrous size all across the line]. All we miss is a nose tackle, and although we can't count him as 2011, a red-shirting Nix will plug that hole literally and figuratively quite authoritatively. When your bigs are better than the other guy's bigs, you're awfully hard to beat. Good times are a'comin'. And on the opponents, as Bob Dylan said, "A Hard Rain's A'Gonna Fall".

This is why I got over my sense of "Deja Vu" with this class. At first, all I heard in my head was "its 2006 all over again." The superficial similarities are tough to miss: highly ranked classes in a new coach's first real year on the recruiting trail. However, I believe these two differences will end up making this class much more successful than the 2006 class: the presence of great players in the trenches and the luxury Kelly will have to get them ready to play during their first year. This means that when these guys do hit the field, they'll be better prepared and ready to dominate the line of scrimmage; after that, football is easy.

Lynch and Tuitt will have theyre spots on the line. They're not LB's. Clay Burton and Rabasa are more along the lines of what we are looking for at OLB's. Rabasa may be in the rotation at DE.

IATB.... I actually feel sorry for you. You're going to have to feed Aaron and Stephon. By the size of Aaron, the whole ND team will come to your house for training table. LOL
