I was going to go with a smaller, slower Bo Jackson. Yes, slower for the guys here to young to have seen Bo in his prime. For these that don't know Bo Jackson is the only person that Deion Sanders admits is faster than him with 4.13 forty time. BTW he was 6'1 230.
Deion Sanders got smoked by several NFL players and "Flipper" Anderson made light work of him in several games and embarrassed him in a race at the Superstars Competition in 1990.

I feel like he is literally a direct comp to Chubb:

Similar size / speed profile, both put up huge numbers in the weight room. He's obviously not as good as Chubb yet, but I think he could get there.

This is a really good comp. It's actually hard to unsee.

Fun Facts:

Both from Georgia

Nick Chubb - 10.69 - 100M, Shot put - 55' 8", High Jump - 5'6"
Ht. 5'10, 225-228lbs in College

Jonaz Walton - 10.66 (adjusted 100M), Shot put - 47' 9.5", High Jump - 5'10"
Ht. 5'9, 214lbs as a freshman

I was more less having a little fun with the Bo comparison but the Chubb comp is quite good.

Gotta love football. When I watch Walton, I see a lot more Sony Michel - Chubb's backfield running mate 😂

That's comparisons for ya.

I'm just imagining Chubb throwing that shot as an afterthought like a baseball. That is a bonkers combination of track stats.

Anyone thinks he passes the total Estime had in 2023? 1341.
In the regular season, I'll bet no.

Estime did that in 12 games. For Walton to hit that number in 12 games he's going to need to average 155 per game and possibly still seeing the other two dudes getting carries.

He'll need to average 150+ a game moving forward for that to happen. Despite all his success, there is a likely a game or two where he's not going to completely dominate as he has vs UNC & Stanford. So, I doubt it.
Sorry should have said if we make a playoff run so play at least 3 games?

Ran behind the best line possibly ever in the NFL l with great QB and cocky WR. He was durable as hell but doubt he’s in anyone’s top 5
It's a bit. When the comps start in a given thread, I post something about two players making a baby while another player films it.

Derrick Lassic would never be part of the bit.

He's like a pot luck of Clinton Portis, Ahman Green, Ladanian Tomlinson, Emmitt Smith, Marshall Faulk, Fred Taylor, Jamal Lewis, Priest Holmes, and Shaun Alexander combined. May have left somebody out but you all get the gist.

Or he's just Jonaz MF Walton, fellas. Goodness.
