My thoughts on Brisbane is after the way their fans have acted and the shit they were chanting in the game the other day, the stuff they continue to post on social media, screw the Aussies, any city. Big or small. If there was ever a chance of me skipping down to Australia after a trip to Asia that chance went away after this week. I’m good never spending a dime there.

On that note of international rivalry, I never root for England, ever,… it isn’t even the rightful home and it’s never going there,… but ,… if the English do in fact get Mexico in round 2 as is favored currently I hope they push that shit all the way in prison shower style. Then lose in the next round.

Love all around and all that

I thought their sex offender chant was hilarious and true to form. A bunch of Aussies on a piss bender, having fun at a soccer match. You'd have to be incredibly thin-skinned to feel the need to defend a scumbag politician that happens to be the most powerful person in the world right now, from some drunk soccer fans at a soccer match...

It was WAY beyond that, and I didn’t even know they went there,… I’m referring to chants of mocking the death of kids in school shootings, tying Epstein to random Americans or the nation as a whole, the notion Americans deserve having ‘lesser health care’,… I’m assuming they’re sober now, yet I’m continuing to see these posts on social media,… I’ll wear ‘thin skinned’ tag on that and say stuff like that goes beyond ‘banter between friends’. It especially stands out against the backdrop of what has otherwise been a great getting together of nations and cultures in good faith and brotherhood.

Good on South Africa,… did not see that group finishing that way for sure

Going to be a fun match between Canada and South Africa in LA. Two teams that really like to run-and-gun. Should be lots of chances back-and-forth. Hopefully we have Davies, Bombito and Eustaquio. Going to need them. Our midfield without Kone and Eustaquio got abused against Switzerland.

One cannot judge a country by its dang soccer fans - high level of weirdos. We are mainly good catholic ND fans here.
The reaction here is we are disgusted by the way they came out parking the bus.
What were the fans there chanting etc?

It's all setting up for R16: Mexico v. England on July 5th at the Azteca.

Will be absolute scenes; England in the altitude against a VERY hostile crowd will be interesting.

Go Mexico. The whole "it's coming home" nonsense is annoying, elitist, and historically inaccurate.

I don't have a really strong opinion on england but I never cheer for them...

I don't have a strong opinion on Mexico. I'll cheer for Mexico if that matchup comes to pass.

Manchester City have agreed a £116million ($153m) deal to sign Elliot Anderson from Nottingham Forest.

The fee — a fixed figure with no add-ons — is the most ever paid for a British player and represents a new record for City, eclipsing the £100m they paid Aston Villa for Jack Grealish in 2021.
This is fucking insane.
