Has anyone ever given an explanation for how ND is now able to accept undergrad transfers? I always was under the impression that they are a no-go for us.

Academic side realized they needed to adapt, too.

Helps if it's someone like Freeman promising to work with you, instead someone perceived to be an unlikeable asshole.

I work the four 10's schedule so I only work Tuesday-Friday so having Monday off today has helped my issue that will be lasting for longer than 4 hours...

so far it seems like they've moved from just accepting undergrads in good standing at "peer institutions" to that plus "we vetted him coming out of high school and he's in good standing at his current school". i'm hoping they go further...

They have always been able to take undergrad transfers. The problem has always been whether an undergrad transfer is going to be able to complete a degree "on time." The only exception to this that I'm aware of is Riley Leonard, and I've never heard what the explanation there was, and I doubt one will ever surface.

Brother, I didnt want him when we hired him. In some thread I stated how someone in my family played for him at Central Michigan and heard alot of stuff that turned me off on him. Realistically at the time he was probably our best and only choice, but I never was a fan of it.
