What the fuck is going on in Bloomington? They’re either the greatest talent developers in the history of football or they know every single play before it happens.. bc that is just fucking insane.

We’re over here screaming about our DL for next year that even untouched is, on paper, infinitely better than theirs 😂

It’s hard to imagine ND could land big splashes like the two OSU WRs and Keon, but not attract at least mid level DTs.

Half Empty:
There’s not even a whisper of rumor of any DTs being in scope or interested. Not even rumors of a visit let alone interest. And we’ve unconvered the WRs and Keon..

Nice long thread from last night where someone posted some info. O’Malley said he was hearing the same for some of his info so poster is probably legit. O’Malley also said he knows of 4 signings and them trying to work on two more.

Another poster in the thread said he has a friend who is an SEC coach and he told him ND closed on guys they were after.

Great info, thanks for summing.

If true this was a fail. Unless every under sized DT on our roster who’s never played somehow becomes playoff caliber starters, we can’t win a title with this interior. But we’ll have so much talent on the back end and on offense we’ll still breeze into the playoffs with our schedule.

Hopefully the entire beat is in the dark about DT.

McKinney came out of left field... I fully expect the staff to close on a couple more guys (interior defensive lineman) that we/ND beat writers had no clue we were even targeting. If someone said that we would land Porter/Graham/Keeley during the first week of the portal, you're ecstatic. Still another week left...

I don't logically understand how we get guys the caliber of those WRs and Keeley but zero DTs, when what we need by far the most is DTs.
So I'm going to assume there are a couple of DTs in the works who we don't know about, or Brewu is coming.

He said he knows the story but has to keep it to himself. I do know that Sam from Michigan 247 immediately said watch out for ND when he entered into the portal and then we heard nothing else. So, did something happen when McKinney was shown as signed with ND and Sanders wasn’t aware they were bringing someone else in too?

My guess is there is an entity trying to further smear ND in any way possible. Yes, I believe the mothership of ESPN could and would meddle and target ND specifically. Something everyone else is doing, but only trying to bring to light NDs transgressions.
